Omg omg order the Crying Tiger, the beef is so tender it'll melt in your mouth. Thai Ice Tea is a must for your drink. Mango sticky rice for the dessert . Yum! Oh their portion are BIG, remember that.
Everything about Chat Thai is spot on, from the dish selections, preparation and the prices. The food is authentic , the atmosphere romantic (read: date friendly !), and all the locations are delicious.
Authentic Thai restaurant in Sydney center. For Thai people, the food, drinks & desserts are all good. Let try Pad Thai , Bua Loi, Stir Fried Noodle , Grilled Pork , Pa-Tong-Ko, Crab curry . Crowded .
Chat Thai is one of my new favorite restaurants ! The food is incredible, great service, they offer large portions for an inexpensive price. Try the Pad See Ew , Thai Iced Tea , and Mango Sticky Rice ! :)
Get there early to avoid big lines ! Food is awesome, loved the fresh spring roles <3, open till 2am for a late night bite too (: Definitely recommend
Faultless Thai food with great range. Have had chilli fried rice , pad Thai , chicken noodle (can't remember the name :( ) and a green drink whose name I can't remember.
Fresh spring rolls with shrimp & vegetables $10 appetizer , papaya salad with dried shrimp $10 and king crab omelette light, crispy and large $20
'Khao Soi': Combination of that creamy coconut curry broth, that squiggly egg noodles , a bone-in chicken Maryland, pungent mustard greens & devilishly hot housemade chilli oil .
Thai Food for you here's much like you want. I go for Basil Chicken (wish the original name was less weird to speak out!), Pad Thai and some bla bla bla of the desserts . The only issue is PENDING!
Amazing entrees and mains. Amazing coconut and spicy flavours. Will have to revisit solely for the mango sticky rice dessert next time! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Put your name and get a number outside. Make a reservation if you need a timely meal
Love the Som Tum and desserts very authentic . Crispy fried doughstick with pandan sauce is very yummy and not available in Westfield Sydney. Many other desserts to choose from as well ....
Beautiful and cool place with great food and service. I don't think I've been this excited about a restaurant in a while. Try the watermelon blend!
Great value food you can (and should) go every week. The five spice soup is awesome, especially when they run the $5 entree special
Good food. The non spicy buffet was still definitely spicy , so be prepared for that. Wanted a Chang beer but only Singha. Great atmosphere.
Great food, extensive menu, buzzy atmosphere and good service ! Can get very busy so be prepared to queue.
GreT Thai , fast service and yes fantastic pad see ew , highly recommend ????
Service is fine, but brought main before the starter. Crying tiger nothing special, crispy duck w/ rice very tasty. Dessert : tapioca on coconut milk a good option comparing to heavy sticky rice .
don't know how come it doesn't have TOM YUM soup in the menu, thats famous and signature thai soup , but love the sauce so much!
This place is on the money. Authentic Thai flavours. Nice and spicy . Variety of choice. Cool interior. Affordable. Win.
Usually yummy food here, though this time the massamum curry was a bit sweet. The mud crab omelette was delicious though! Apparently the durian & sticky rice was good, but pls keep it away from me :P
Pork belly with red curry paste (not too spicy ), lodt shong Singapore drink, sticky rice with mango
Worth the wait. Good food in generous portions . Careful when you order extra spicy , they take it to a new level
Had lunch here and overall don't think its authentic thai enough as most of the dishes are not spicy at all. Must have alter the taste to suite the local here in Syd.
Great decoration and vibe! Not to mention really good Thai food !
Had a fantastic pad see ew and fried vegetables here. Lots of Thai clientele so you know it's the real deal
The Phad Thai was delicious. Lovely restaurant , very similar to Home. Great service, awesome food.
Pad Thai is very nice. Tom yum is not spicy n tastes good.
Perfect for a late night meal, open till 2 am. Love the pad see ew with tofu !
Strawberry blend is not as good as others raved about... They used syrup and blended with ice. Whoever said its a must try must haven't had good strawberry blend before!
Surprisingly the omelette with crab is simple and very delicious
Fresh rolls , snapper salade en ki mao are spicy and very delicious. We could have done without starters.
Guay tiew larb is good!
Pardon the hyperbole, but its all bloody great. If you're in the line and unlikely to be back, wait it out!
You will usually have to wait at peak times but the food is always good, spicy and authentic .
Must try-s: Tom Yum , Basil Chicken and massamun curry . Arrive before 6pm for a shorter wait.
Mussamun Curry , Chargrilled Squid , Fresh Springroll.. and the best papaya salad in town I'd say! Cant go wrong with any of the dishes
Can’t go wrong Prak Prik King crispy pork belly
Authentic Thai food . Yummy papaya salad . Pad see ew was good. Gets packed pretty quickly.
Waited over 2 hours and it was well worth it! Dishes are a different level of spicey .Mango sticky rice never tasted so good! And takeaway pandan pudding was a great post desert ! One word.. Amazing!!
We really liked this place and the amazing food! I tried a fish w/ ginger , pepper and lemongrass that I never will forget! Awesome!
green curry was awesome! nice ambience but little bit cramped during peak hour on a Friday night.
The menu is great and there’s plenty to choose from without disappointment. Service if pretty quick but it’s always busy. Waits are not uncommon.
Authenticity is the name of the game, coupled with a good vibe and fresh ingredients .
Desserts r the best. Mango sticky rice . Coconut ice cream . Perfect for summer days.
Authentic Thai Food . It gets pretty busy tho so make a reservation .
Padkrapaw if yu love spicy ! Mubing and Fishball are must-ordered! and the Watermelon Juice is sooo good! for the dessert i recommend Bread Ice......heaven!
Do ***NOT*** order any spicy dish as MEDIUM or hotter. Growing up on spicy Mexican food in California I arrogantly thought I could handle "medium spicy". Boy, I've never been more wrong in my life!
Breakfast get Kanom Krok. Lunch time get BBQ pork stick with sticky rice , dont forget the source to go with it. Night time get Mango Sticky Rice .
All dishes include “pad” word were delicious!
Pork belly stir fry, duck curry, soft shell crab, grilled marinated chicken ... make sure you save room for dessert here! - Sher Reen L
$4 boat noodle soup is awesome.equally good is the guay jub(or kway chup) at $6 or the pad thai with soft shell crab at $9.90. - brian sim
More authentic Thai than most, the Boat Noodles ( extra crackling) and the Beef Salad are great! Pandan juice was tasty too - Elif Durur
Fantastic shopping selection for everyone. Not just high end fashion, which is hard to find in Sydney. - Phillip Minuto
Nice harbour to walk around especially with kids, nice restaurants along the way, playground and of course fantastic view - ????????????????á???????? ✨
