Mel's Diner

It was so neat visiting Mel's, the inspiration for the diner used in the old TV series "Alice." The food was wholesome and tasty. Definitely above average though not quite in a league of its own.

Good, solid, no-frills diner grub, just the way it should be. Denver omelet bursts with chunks of peppers and onion . Home fries are killer, especially with their salsa on top.

The Breakfast Skillets are amazing. I always order the Hobo.. it's no longer on the menu but they still make it for me.
