This historic building is a unique construction in the Jardin des Alpes. The Duke of Brunswick requested this mausoleum be built after he donated his fortune to Geneva following his death.
Charles d’Este-Guelph, Duke of Brunswick , specified to build “a mausoleum in an eminent and worthy location". The monument is an exact replica of the Scaligeri family tomb in Verona , Italy
