The zoo is way bigger than it looks, plan for all day and if possible drive one of the FEW places in DC with free parking !

If you get here by 8:30, the Pandas are in the outdoor yard and you beat the crowds to both the parking lot and all the viewing areas.

The zookeepers were extremely knowledgeable and friendly , and made the entire experience so much better.

This exhibit is one of the best at this zoo .
