Family friendly atmosphere and a long list of beers from local breweries in the tri-state area. One area of improvement: Need to have beer flights . Other than that good food and good beer .

Second all the recs for Bavarian pretzel . They have a separate kids menu if you ask. The beer selection is unbelievable and they will fill growlers .

$2 burger is a little misleading. Any topping you want is extra plus fries is extra so it soon turns into and $8 burger . So if you want a burger , no toppings and no fries it's a good deal .

Best selection of draughts in Harrisonburg and equally great food! Smokehouse burger and smokehouse chicken sandwich are my favorites.

Callys was so mush better! Great beer , wonderful staff , good food! Harrisonburg classic! Food at ale house is horrid, service is weak, beer is mediocre! We will never return!

So many beers to choose from. And try the fried calamari appetizer . Good stuff.

The Bavarian pretzel did live up to the hype! A little pricey , but a good vacation dinner .

This one has a great atmosphere and less snobby than other capital ales i have visited.

Fish and chips were were wonderful. Beer selection is amazing.

Just don't go- waited for fifteen minutes and multitudes of servers were literally standing around. Not a water was offered. Poor staff .

Terrible service worse food but a ton of beer options

Nothing to write home about. Come for a beer ...but don't bother with the food not that great!

This place has horrible customer service. Not comin' back. Food was uber bad too.
