Check out the observatory on weekend nights and pick an astronomers brain for a few minutes. If you're there while it's still light outside, go down the trails and find a bench overlooking the ponds .

I went here for a class assignment and loved it! Its so peaceful and great for outdoor exercise. You will see animals that you would not expect and learn fun facts along the path. Go in the evening.

Love love this place, so many trails you never get bored. My 4 year old and our dog also love it. You can even ride your bikes . My new favorite place! Go to the library next door get a good book . :-)

One of the best treasures of Gilbert. Lovely easy hiking , ducks, fishing (with a permit), Dino dig, playground . Always a fun trip!

Get there at dusk so you can use the telescope there to see the stars. But don't be there too late they close at 10.

An amazing place for photography . Especially if you prefer non crowded parks .

Great place to take the kids; bring a bike , a fishing pole, or walk and run around exploring. There is a library on the corner.

Visit the Park on Friday & Satursay after dark for a view from the Observatory (hosted by the East Valley Astronomy Club).

Some of the ponds have been drained. You can be a bit more adventurous in your hiking and bird watching .
