We’re known for our Japanese fish-shaped waffle that is chewy on the inside yet crispy on the outside. It's flavors blend perfectly our artisan ice cream.

The straight outta Japan has a delicious swirl of black sesame and matcha ice cream with mochi , red bean paste and a chocolate wafer . The cone is a taiyaki cake ! Served warm and delicious.
Best dessert in NYC. Homemade green tea icecream artfully adorning a warm one of a kind fish waffle cone filled with red bean . The sprinkled mochi on top takes this delight to the next level.
What's better than soft serve ? Soft serve in a fish mouth! In this case, a warm cake with custard serves at the cone and makes for a delightful treat!
Taiyaki has croyaki now stuffed with your choice of bean paste or custard . Custard was delicious and the croyaki was flavorful
I'm pretty sure I died and went to heaven! I built my own: custard filled cone , green tea ice cream , and mochi candy . AMAZING. I'm in lOVE with the cone , its soft and doughy and tastes like a pastry !
Literally everything on their menu is golden. Try the straight out of japan for the authentic dessert experience that made this place so popular.
straight outta japan - matcha + sesame soft serve . perfect place to take hipster pics. the ice cream & taiyaki are so gooooood but mochi could be better.
The matcha and black sesame swirl is amazing
You obviously come here for the taiyaki (the fish shaped cone/cake). Instead of the normal sweetened red bean filling, they fill it with ice cream flavor (s) of your choice :)
You pick the ice cream (matcha sesame obvss), filling, 2 toppings and drizzle for $7. Plus an adorable photo worth grammin' ????????
The matcha sesame soft serve ice cream on taiyaki is simply amazing. Don't forget to eat the whole fish . It has a sweet azuki red bean inside.
The souffle pancakes are super fun! They're a bit eggy, and I wouldn't come back just for them, but they're so photogenic (and the wait is an experience in and of itself). Overall, worth it!
The ice cream is amazing all the way down to the cone !! I recommend everyone come try Taiyaki! You will not be disappointed!!
Line moves pretty quickly! The soft serve is really yummy. Portions are large - you might even be able to share! Not much filling in the actual taiyaki, but still great!
Ice cream goals. Delicious soft serve , snack on a wafer and mochi and you still have a taiyaki cake for your happy ending ????
Green tea and sesame soft served ice cream in a Japanese fish-shaped cake . Straight Outta Japan ($7) would be a good choice. $10 minimum for credit card payment.
My goal was to try the Souffle pancakes they make but I didn't know its only served from 11am to 2pm. So I ended up ordering the strawberry and mango with coconut flakes . It was amazing!
Worth the hype. Get passed the horde of IGers and enjoy a delicious treat (matcha and black sesame is legit)
You must try the straight from Japan. This place does not sell the warm filled taiyaki, but the ice cream filling versions instead. It is great place and worth the visit.
We tried every flavor! And everything was delicious! ????
Such a fun little ice cream shop . You can pick from their offerings or make your own. The black sesame is so tasty!
$7 a pop...but pretty darn good soft serve !! Better than big gay imo. Fishcone has a little custard at the very tip.
Special place.
Warm & soft fish shaped cone with custard or red bean paste at the bottom, get the Choco-Lit
Great size! Not too large. The soft serve is creamy and the fish freshly baked!
Green tea ice cream and latte were good, fish with red bean was good but they got my first order wrong. Check before you leave to make sure they got it right ????????????
The ice cream is incredible! It's light and refreshing and the waffle fish cone is not only insta worthy but delicious.
Rainbow unicorn! ???? it's a tiny store so it gets crowded easily esp during the summer but ig-worth hahaha
Great. It the best
Very good... Loved the Straight Outta Japan -- matcha / black sesame swirl , Mochi , red beans ... But $7 for this thing is a bit overpriced IMO.
Yeah, it was that good! Matcha everything!! I can’t wait to go back.
In addition to the joy of the instagramable looks the ice cream is great and so is the fish waffle ????
Awesome ice cream and great staff ! I spilled mine and they replaced it on the house!
Get ANYTHING here. You will not be disappointed. Currently tops my list for best dessert in NYC!
overhyped on taste, but great for Instagram. Also prepare to be aggressive to get a seat because it's tiny
Important! Tilt your camera only ... or you’ll quickly discover you’ve lost your ice cream to the ground.
Delicious soft serve - recommend the matcha black sesame swirl
Go with the Black Sesame and Matcha soft serve swirled on a fish cone !
Creamy ice cream atop a taiyaki fish cone . Get matcha flavor. They also have a unicon one
Get your ice cream in a taiyaki!
This place was super fun! The ice cream was delicious and the cone so cute ! Tasted like a waffle .
Fish . Custard . Azuki. Ice cream . Ingredients for a winning recipe, almost worth the price asked for.
The presentation is just beautiful and so fun! Loved the warm fish shape waffle but the soft serve itself was average.
Sesame and matcha swirl all day
Matcha souffle pancake is my favorite there????
Delicious!!! The black sesame ice cream tayaki is the best. Decent matcha also.
often crowded tourist haven, but worth the wait for a unique and light warm/cold dessert
Cool vibe! Didn't like the taste of the waffle ! Tasted a lot like egg !
it's not bad but dessert trends are the hardest for me to get into. tasty waffle fish things
Yeah it's kinda twee but also tasty. Go for matcha plus black sesame swirl .
Sesame matcha swirl is my favorite but the ube is fun too! - Laura Chin
Ice cream! Lychee is a favourite but they also have maple bacon ice cream if you feel adventurous! - Lucky Bimolaksono
Might be the best ice cream in NY! Come back often as the flavors change every few days! - Marcel
Love the aesthetics of this market. Great food, cool decor, overall awesome vibes. - Alex Tsu
Their sponge cakes are amazing, especially the green tea one. They sell out quickly, so make it your first stop in Chinatown. - Karen
Aisle 1 has a great selection of Sichuan hot sauces, thai curry pastes and Malaysian ingredients. Good place for fresh noodles as well. - Jeffrey Allen
