Our dining service is in keeping with the more traditional ways of China, where each dish is prepared individually to order and brought immediately to your table. All of our dishes are a marriage of flavors and textures, designed around the rice.

You will be stuffed if you get the tasting menu , but it is a great way to sample if you’ve never been to the restaurant . Food is excellent—esp the Szechuan beef !
Buddha Beef is always a winner but if you are with a group the chef 's tasting menu is absolutely the way to go. A little bit of all the delicious things & available as meat friendly or vegetarian .
Tasting menu at lunch is great! Hot and sour soup amazing! Buddha beef , make sure you get some greens with any of these dishes, you'll need something to brighten up some of the flavors
best authentic Chinese food my buddy Steph has ever had! "Their mock eel is legendary-if you mention that dish to anyone who’s had it, they’ll start salivating"
Homemade dumplings were a perfect start. Szechuan Beef #localgrassfedbeef was out of this world-best I've ever had. #chinese #vermont #foodiespr
Speaking from my experience in growing up in Beijing, The Single Pebble is truly the only restaurant in the region that serves authentic Chinese cuisine . Visit for lunch as they have great specials!
Almost everything is available with a tofu or seitan substitution which is very rare. The food and space is great. One of my favorite places in Burlington.
Outstanding Chinese restaurant . Every single dish there is delicious. Try their mock eel dish made with mushrooms , it's world-class and their claim to fame.
I crave the mock eel and the Buddha 's sesame beef , both of which are vegetarian and incredibly salty and umami in the best way.
Great vegan options , but make sure to ask. Some items that looks vegan are not by default. Love the vegetable pot stickers !
String beans are amazing. As is the cucumber salad . Nightly specials are a must. Duck and lamb off menu are incredible.
Great food in a traditional setting, the Thai basil beef deserves a recommendation, but honestly: the whole menu looks delicious.
Get the potsticker dumplings pork or veggie . And keep in mind the large portion size when ordering one of the delicious soups !
It’s all way too salty and remarkably unrefined for how it’s pitched. It feels like a dated take on gourmet Chinese
The absolute best place for a group meal in Burlington with friends and family.
Tons of vegetarian and vegan options . Get the Mock Eel and Buddha 's Sesame "Beef ".
Do the taste menu, the chef sends out several courses of his favorites, you never know what's coming but it's all delicious
Family style . Get medium spicy ma po tofu and mock eel .
Really wanted to love this place, but it needed up being average Chinese food at an above average price. My girlfriend often gets Kung Po Chicken , but really disliked the dish here. OK dumplings tho.
This place is best enjoyed in a large group sharing everything
Buddha 's crispy "beef " is my favorite restaurant dish anywhere!
The dry fried green beans are to die for. And absolute must try!
Family style . Everything I tasted was amazing.
Wonderful place. They have Dim-Sum (dumplings ) on Sundays, make sure to check it out.
Everything and the outside seating
Buddha beef , street noodles delicious!
The mushi with pork is the best I've had anywhere
Whats not to like..Chilled shredded chicken with peppercorn sauce , imperial spring rolls and chicken fried rice are my favs..
It’s good but it’s way too salty.
A nice Asian fusion restaurant , with Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes .
Check out A Single Pebble as seen on Best Thing I Ever Ate Read more
The food was excellent. Try the red Thai curry
Mock eel and three rivers soup are the bomb!!
Chef 's tasting menu was a fun experience.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere, nice staff
Chop Your Head Off soup was unbelievable. Can't go wrong with the tasting menu .
The mock eel and red thai soup is to die for. It's a taste bud explosion
Lemon chicken and chicken lomain where fabulous :) crab cake was delicious but not always offered
Tons of delicious food. ????
Best Chinese restaurant ever - in Burlington, VT!
Two words: mock eel . Really yummy gluten free options as well !
Not authentic , whitewashed, disgusting, expensive and more. The bowls and plates are small, the hot and sour soup is literally a bowl of vinegar. Never come to this place ever. Waiters are American.
Everyone share for the best family style experience of your Asian food life!
This place is delicious! Getting the mock eel is a must!!!
V authentic ! Kinda pricey tho.
This place was phenomenal. And I don't even like Chinese food
If they have the crab cakes , do yourself a favor and ORDER THEM. They are a dinner special so they don't always have them. . .
Try the tasting menu
They are willing to work around a shellfish allergy if they can.
Great restaurant and food. Go with friends and share the wonderfulness.
BBQ spare ribs lunch special is good. A small Wonton soup is a pretty good too. - Aaron Syrup
Family friendly/group friendly, good for late night snacks. Good service and best ice cream ever! - Kelly LeClair
Beer selection is fantastic. HeadyTopper! Burgers are fantastic too. Great spot. - Joey J
The best! Great bulk section. More local options and better prices than anywhere else I've been. If you're going to shop a lot become a working member and save some dough for 4 hrs / month. - Sam Borchard
