Our park ranger was an excellent tour guide, very informative. Learned a lot of history I had not known. Have recommended this place to a few people, worth while visiting.
Pretty incredible they found artifacts here on the grounds the African slaves used to secretly learn how to read and write. Grant actually set them free when he sold the farm .
Fascinating history and museum . This was the home of President Grant's wife, he helped maintain the farm between military deployments prior to the Civil War. Tour the house and grounds!
Enjoyed the tour , our guide was excellent, learned a lot also enjoyed the film . Have recommended to a few people, really enjoyed
Tours start every half hour, at the top and bottom of the hour, until 4:30.
The museum is very well done and the rangers are very knowledgeable .
Grant was an interesting and somewhat misunderstood guy. This is actually his father in laws old homestead but lots of great info

What a fun place! Great for all ages too. Walked around to see all the different animals before we sat down in the German Lookalike Biergarten for 2 FREE beer samples. - Anke Ruwette
The tour is pretty interesting - definitely worth it to see such a large level of production. You get three samples and a token for a full beer at the end. - Sara Taylor
