Bernal Heights Park

Amazing place to see the sunset but go at least half an hour before the reported sunset time for the day. Twin peaks obstructs the full view so it appears to set "earlier" here.

Strangely warm summer night in the fog, the hill to myself, the highway drone, and the million lights that make up the rolling hills below. I am a mosquito.

Nice little uphill hike . Great panoramic view of the city . Gets quite windy so bring a jacket . Kinda bare so not great for a picnic . Bottom of the hill contains many good places to eat.

An awesome view from Bernal onto the rest of the city and the Bay . Bonus because you can see Twin Peaks . There is also a stone labyrinth up there that someone maintains.

Great 45 minute hike , with incredible 360º views ! From Precita Park , walk all the way up Harrison St (up steep driveway + neighborhood stairs), right on Ripley, left on Folsom... explore from there!
