Pope Beach

Huge shallow beach on Lake Tahoe . Walk out 100 yards and you will only be waist deep. Fee per vehicle to enter but it is worth it to hang out in this spot. Great views of the mountains .

One of best views of Lake Tahoe . Go around 2-3:00 p.m to this place just before sunset in winters

$8 for parking now. It's worth it. Or you can leave your car near by. The walk takes about 5-8min. Oh and yes, there are many geese looking for food ????????

Big Long family oriented beach on the CA south shore of Lake Tahoe

During the fall watch for tumbling pine cones . This one almost took us out!

On Winter when it is closed to car, ideal place to take the kids riding their bike :-)
