So much is great about this place. The downstairs tavern is very rustic and extremely packed when crowded , but has a great beer selection . The dining room has an amazing menu and nice atmosphere.

Everything about this place was amazing. Beautiful old building with a small town bar feel. Great beer selection with several local brews and the food was delicious with a large size portion.

The Portobello mushroom app was awesome. And if you are lucky enough for them to have the chocolate goat cheese salad as a special when you are there, get it. It's like dessert .

Portobello mushroom appetizer is amazing. French onion soup great and the lobster roll to die for. Everything great will come back definitely

Get the Pair Frisée Salad . It's sweet and delicious. My mom and I both always get it when we come.

Amazing Everything! Love the wild boar and goat cheese apps. Filet steak wrap awesome too! Our favorite place to eat in CT.

The truffle scallops were amazing. Crab cakes were also a favorite. We ate in the pub downstairs

18th century historic Inn . Amazing creamy clam chowder and buttery lobster rolls

The Scallops Nantucket was fantastic. Perfect portion size.

The coolest restaurant in Mystic . Fish and chips or the Water St burger die stairs in the pub . It's our "Happy Place".

We had dinner in the restaurant upstairs. The ambiance, and drinks were great, especially the beer menu . The food was average, especially for the price.

Blackjack sirloin - YUM!! Best roasted garlic & bread ever. The pub is by far the best atmosphere in all of Mystic.

Maybe the bar is still ok, but the food is really not good anymore. The dishes from the past a few group lunch were very disappointing for almost everyone. Avoid lunch or dinner , go somewhere else.

I know: You don't want to go to a fancy restaurant in Mystic and order the chicken . I get it. But that lemon pepper chicken is really really really delicious. Order it, & get some oysters on the side.

Wildly overrated. Food is what diners thought of as "gourmet" 20 years ago. No finesse, pedestrian. Head to Oyster Club instead

Looking for ghosts ? The DPI (built in 1756) is supposedly haunted; be sure to ask the staff about it.
