Excellent prawn hor fun . Not cheap but the small at $24 is enough for 4-5 pax (1 small bowl each). Special fried chicken w prawn is gd 2!
The Orh nee (teochew sweet yam paste ) has lard which is rare. Most places don't add it anymore due to "health" reasons
One of the 10 best Singapore restaurants , as picked by local foodies. Has been around for 86 years! Source: HerWorld magazine, March 2015
The oldest Chinese restaurant in town . Shabby interiors but great food.
My family and me love the spring roll . The food was excellent.
Established in 1929, they are the oldest family run Chinese restaurant in Singapore.
Food is generally of good quality. Fried Garoupa with Sweet & Sour Sauce was nice... Or Nee dessert also.
Classic and good value . Just check your bill carefully.
Durian ice cream is surprisingly satisfying
The crab was Damn big and nice!!
Service still quite all right. Today they were very busy with a few big tables and they messed up one particular table's order quite badly. Don't know if that occurs often...
Nice food but I could not figure out why they are charging for wet napkins ? This is very strange , it has yo be part of the service.
Popiah is their specialty.
Excellent Spring chicken ... check it out.
14 of us...This place is not honest.. charged $168 for fried rice & $168 for fried noodle but the head waiter does not advised of their prices beforehand. Very dishonest, will never eat here ever.
Great dim sum and popiah !
Great Peking duck !
Try the "ji1 xia1 ru2 yu3"
Nice ktv room
Not what I expected... Will I visit again??? I don't know... There are better restaurants in town ...
北京ダック !今年は85周年なので85セントです。
Dim Sum is great, authentic steamed dumpling in Teochew style is a must try as not many place can make this traditional dumpling skin transparent and soft. - Janice Koh
Their pork was really delicious, it was the first time I tried this taste and it really brings a new flavour to me. Recommend this dish!! Service was great too!! - Jan
$12.60 for Beef Hor Fun. Generous portions of beef and if you like bean sprouts it's like 10% of the whole plate. - Chris W
Mid size mall and white linen (meaning-higher price) food in Chinatown area- Outram is farther down... - James Look
Snow ice deliciousness. Give the chocolate a miss and try fruity flavours. large enough to share by two. Esp love the mango strawberry one. - N N
Love their herbal jelly, may be too strong for some preferences but there are plenty of other great Cantonese desserts too! - BrandyCoke
