Arterra has great food! New menu, better food, nice atmosphere.

Nice lounge on the 11th floor.

Bar waters down drinks. I actually saw them add water to the shot glass while measuring my drink! Usually a good spot, guess its slow.

Do make time to eat at Arterra--it's worth every penny. I brought my 6-year-old and we enjoyed our staycation together here.

Finally this property has a regular staff and are not over chafing on the parking - a good Marriott for Del Mar

Wish there was free wifi . Not a bad location though. Nice place overall

I enjoy the 'clothing optional' rule they have for the pool and gym .

It's rumored that Modest Mouse was inspired to write their hit "Paper Thin Walls" after their stay here.

The exercise facility is pretty decent for a hotel . Free weights, weight machines, 3 aerobic machines.

They serve a yummy white wine , Maui Blanc. It's a Sauvignon Blanc infused with pineapple .

Can't believe we have to pay $20 per day for parking . They should just add that to the price & not tell you. Also the wifi sucks.

Ask for a cookie . Life-changing!

Forgot to add: I had to go get coffee cups & Splenda because housekeeping forgot to refill what I used. Why can't they use regular pillows ?? These pillows are terrible. Bed is awesome but pillows suck

Try the seasalt vanilla ice cream . Best dessert downtown!

Bar staff clean the pool furniture - they use a dirty rag and do a poor job.

Kitchen AND room service close at 11. WTF?!

Very pleasant hotel - nice central venue for San Diego events for peeps from north, south, east & west! Short hop into Del Mar village ! Enjoy your stay!

Avoid the restaurant inside. Terrible food and service.
