The History Center houses the collection of the Historical Society of Central Florida, Inc. in three floors of dynamic permanent exhibitions that take visitors on a journey through the region’s fascinating 12,000 year history, as well as nationally important, limited-run exhibitions.

Inexpensive and very cool!! This used to be the courthouse for Orlando. Lots of history on how Orlando came to be a tourist area.
Can do in about 2-3 hours. Closes early, so make sure you give yourself enough time. They always have pretty good exhibits here.
