Perfect French restaurant in the 4th! Amazing ambiance and the waiters speak English. Do not miss the mussels appetizer or the incredible chocolate mousse dessert . Call for a reservation or go early!
Of all d main courses we had (tuna , beef entrecôte , sea bass , rabbit confit ), Magret de canard au romasin (duck breast ) was voted the best-tasting on our table
Loved this place -- we managed to get seated w/o a reservation , but if you want to sit outside definitely call ahead. We had the duck and the risotto , which both were fantastic.
Rustic provencal style food in a laid back setting. Their all-you-can-eat chocolate mousse dessert is worth the hype - they bring a giant bowl to your table and you take what you want.
Fun place! The food is in huge portions and tasty. Definitely fun experience! I had the incredible Tuna Carpaccio and try the Rabbit ! Also the chocolate mousse is a crazy thing to do with friends!
Service relaxed et agréable. Bonne cuisine. Cute terrace . Chocolate mousse comes in a big bowl on your table for unlimited servings. Fairly full with Americans. Very nice experience. I’ll come back.
Really authentic food, a traditional French Mediterranean restaurant , with a great menu, service and atmosphere ! Will come back to taste the mousse which was not available when I went !
Amazing duck with au gratin . Even more amaizing mousse au chocolat . Call for a table in advance and if the weather is nice sit outside. Doesn't get better.
Definitely get the escargot pasta . It does indeed live up to the hype! The only thing I will say is that it does have a floral kind of flavor so stay away if you're not into that kind of stuff.
My favorite restaurant in Paris. Cozy , authentic , delicious food, fun environment. I recommend this to everyone. The liquor shot at the end was amazing!
The chocolate mousse in THE BEST EVER. Reservations can only been made for inside, so get there early or expect to wait for an alfresco dinner . You can always order wine and hang outside while waiting
Omg the duck . I'll say it again, get the duck ! Best I've had anywhere. Get there early, call ahead or prepare to wait at a tiny, standing room only bar .
My oh my. Was going to mention the great dinner we had there until we tried the yummy looking chocolate mousse . When it came, I think our brains exploded. Unforgettable. Incredible chocolate mousse !!!
Everything is amazing but the magret de canard and foie de veau are outstanding. Get Pastis to start and finish with the chocolate mousse ! Photo is of the foie
Very tasty food, friendly staff . Menu not available in English, and service is a bit slow, but the atmosphere and the good wine sure makes up for it. You must go there definitely!
Provencal bistro , offers traditional French cuisine . Guests can enjoy classic dishes such as spinach salad with goat cheese , steak , duck breast with rosemary , house made chocolate mousse
Service can be a little "French" if it's crowded . For fridays and weekends, it's better to have a reservation . Try starting with a Terre Rouge pastis, followed by lapin à provençale and the mousse .
Cozy and calm outside, and lively inside. Come early or try to book – waiting up to two hours is not unusual! Try a pastis and the duck . Do not miss the chocolate mousse – but do share, it's huge.
When you order chocolate mousse they bring a large serving bowl to table. You help yourself to what you want, the bowl stays on the table in case you want seconds, then they take it back.
The filet de daurade was cooked to perfection. The combination with the sauce au agrumes sounded weird but was actually really nice. The fried fish to share as a starter is recommended.
Great place with great service. Don't miss the mussels and tostada . End your meal perfectly with their mousse or cheese !
Very cute bistro , staff so friendly & happy to translate a couple of things. The duck was really good, very impressed. Good value . The chocolate mousse is just ridiculous!
try to get a resi or prepare to drink a bottle waiting- they give you amazing olives too. Try the salad with baby shrimp and grapefruit , unexpectedly perfect!
Very nice souther France style restaurant , farcies are amazing as well as gambas with pastis. Crazy selection of Pastis !
Just drop by at any evening but be prepared to wait 30mins for a table at the bar . Which is the most fun experience: drink a glass of rosè , eat the delicious olives and chat with the funny bartender .
Very nice staff ! I loved ratatouille here-traveled from other end of Paris for it and didn't regret it! even though it was lunch time-I got served very quickly :)
One of the best French cuisine authentic places in Paris. Highly recommended, but be ready to wait for a place. Entrecôte is very good!
Wild boar was great. Don't think it's part of regular menu. Check the today's specials. For the desserts the mousse is awesome and the rhubarb dessert too.
It’s always a pleasure to go in this restaurant ! Everything is good and the selection of pastis is awesome !
Everything is good! Foods, place, drinks, service, staff ! More than 80 pastis for lover! You should test this restaurant if you plan a journey in Paris
Lovely located place that serves Provence style dishes. At noon, go for the "formule midi", which offers you a main course with either a starter or a dessert .
Super trendy and Typical French bistro . Best place is at the counter otherwise make a reservation . Long list of pastis to taste or go with the absinthe liquor
Great atmosphere, amazing staff that also speaks English. We got the risotto and duck , both were great. Definitely get the mouse au chocolat !!
Great south French atmosphere and an impressive list (+80) of different pastis and absinthes . Have a drink at the bar and some aperitifs
Wonderful authentic French restaurant . Very friendly and helpful staff , fear prices and very good food. Atmosphere on a Saturday was wonderful.
Provençal exactly as I hoped it would taste ???? rustic and well made countryside food. Will be full in the evening
Best garlic and pesto mussels i have ever had. Rabbit was cooked confit style. Very good. Excellent wine and desserts . Stay away from their armagnac . Too much of a burn.
If you don't have time in your life for mediocre food, then this is the restaurant for you. From the kir royal to the Ratatouille to the bouillabaisse to the steak . Flavourful and cooked to perfection
Hoppin place with nice servers and homey food. Make sure you try the heaping chocolate mousse !
Although we were seemingly surrounded by other tourists , we felt like we were dining in an 'authentic ' Parisian restaurant , right down to the semi-rude waitress . Loved it!
Get the tagliatelle with escargot - in a delicious pesto-like chive sauce. Stop in during lunchtime for some great people watching + lunchtime specials (two courses for 15 euro)
Favorite restaurant in Paris in one of my favorite neighborhoods . The duck is sublime, but everything here will make you fall in love with Provençal cuisine
Amazing staff , good and house wine . Moules à la Provençale are incredible! Also have their famous Mousse au Chocolat ????
We loved the goat 's cheese & tomato sauce , the moules , entrecôte and veal 's liver . And like everyone else says the chocolate mousse is fabulous.
Quintessential comforting and delicious French cooking. The Janou salad is perfection- really never had anything I didn't love here!
Authentic Marseilles cuisine. The osso bucco was stellar. The chocolate mousse insane. they bring you a TUB of mousse - serve yourself however much you want onto a plate and return the rest.
Wow don't get too exited when you get the big (real big) bowl of chocolate mousse . You need to put some on your plate and hand the rest over to the waitress ! Haha
Tagliatelle Aux Escargot . Basically pesto pasta with snails. Tasty.
Great place with waiters that speak English. The specials of the day are always a good option! And the chocolate mousse is amazing.
For entrées, we enjoyed petite friture d'eperlans (fried whitebait fish ?) & moules gratinees ala provencale (Provence style mussels ). We could hv ordered 2nd rounds!
Traditional french dishes, very good value, I strongly recommend the harengs pomme à l'huile and the poulet fermier. - Mickaël Augello
Good price/quality deal. Good food, very French, good spot when in the Montmartre area! - Rebecca Bouteveille
A great little find. This hidden gem serves fresh, rustic dishes in an authentic bohemian environment. Save this one for a special evening on a limited budget. - Ollie Martin
Beautiful and friendly place. As oasis in Paris. A place to rest and enjoy. - Paulian Moscovici
Great for waking around during the day or night. There are many shops and places to dine. Explore at any time of the day. It's very quiet in the morning, and lively at night. - Stephanie Davis Garzoli
Nice little bar hidden from the uninitiated. The theme is the 30s speakeasy. Good collection of whisky, nice atmosphere. - Kévin K.H
