Love this park better then busch gardens in florida it has so much more to do. It is a lot bigger too with better food too. The only thing I say is that it is a lot of up and down walking be prepared.
They now have a system where you can pay a flat fee for a locker ($6 when I was there) and then use your 4-digit code at any of the lockers throughout the park .
Great place to go for a trip with the kids! Especially if you're military . We had a ball. We also learned that you can re-enter the parking lot with your parking receipt and watch the fire works.
What a beautiful place . Something to do for everyone. Loved the Italy area. Believe it or not but the best place to view the fireworks is in the parking lot . The you can just start the car and go.
If you love rollercoasters and beautifully themed parks , this is your place. This park makes you feel like you're in Europe indeed. It's breathtaking. Don't underestimate any of the rides.
Great place for families and adults. Great rides, excellent food, and the Oktoberfest was a pleasant surprise when we went on Labor Day weekend!
Most ride lines on a weekday in late June were 30-45 minutes. My favorite was the Loch Ness Monster. The Sesame Street area was great for my 2 young kids, much less crowded in the late afternoon.
Wonderful atmosphere! Multicultural mixed with roller coasters . Definitely something for everyone!
If you have little ones, bring a change of clothes and a towel for them so they can play in the water in Sesame Street Forest of fun. Check for show times too.
If you are a Virginia resident and you have kids under 6 or 7 you can get a Sesame street season pass for the kids just google it. Oh and The Irish stew is awesome.
Best rollercoaster park in Virginia - clean and overall better staff
Busch Gardens has 53 rides, 6 roller coasters and 4 water rides all housed in 10 seperate European themed villages . At just an hour from Richmond, Busch Gardens is a family favorite.
Everything is thumbs up. It can be an all day of fun or a couple of hours just strolling around shopping, eating or enjoying a show. Great for the entire family.
This is my go to place for the kids all summer long! Season passes get discounts and access to park all from March until October!
Really enjoyed my time here. The park here is HUMONGOUS!! You can conquer all of the rollercoasters in less than half a day. The verboten is my favorite.
Griffin is hands down the best ride ever (go first row!). The shows are really entertaining too! Ate at Oktoberfest, great food, though it was hard to choose between that and San Marco food!
Front seat of the Griffin is worth the wait. Be willing to go in a pair if there are more than you to skip a lot of wait as they try to fill up the front row!
Eat at Das Festhaus in the Oktoberfest area. It's a large air conditioned(!) building with plenty of seating, and you get a free show while you eat.
Awesome, coasters, food places, stores even with covid issues was still so much fun
Be prepared to walk. Take a break on the train and enjoy the scenery. And Apollo's Chariot is a great coaster with a very smooth ride!
Super clean and super smooth rollercoasters and great drinks and shopping too! Griffon on the front edge is the best!
We love this park it has the friendliest workers and is so clean . We just love everything about it!
Make time to see a show, Celtic Fyre definitely worth the time.
Down load the busch gardens app. All new for this year and you can save your pass on it if you happen to forget yours. A lot of other good info too
The Annual Pass with the ezPay option is the way to go! Griffin is awesome, def the best coaster there
To get on every coaster, show up when the park opens and do the coasters in this order: verbolten , dark castle if you want, griffon , alpengeist, loch ness, apollos chariot.
Do not park at the shopping centers and cut through the woods to get in (by the parking away from the park and by the brewery ). The watch for the cars and they WILL tow your car!
The London Rocks show has amazing visuals. Very much based on the Beatles style. The vocals however, are not impressive. But fun and worth seeing.
The food is great and anyone with a military ID can get a free one day pass each year!!
Only bring a book bag or big purse if you don't mind renting a locker. Several rides don't allow any bags at all.
If you plan to get to the park when they open, get there at 9:30, not 10:00. You get get into England at that time & avoid the 10:00 rush.
Very lush theme park with a nice mix of roller coasters drinks and animals
Appolo's Chariot is my favorite coaster of all time
Ride Lochness too get a dynamic view of the fireworks in the summer and ride the Mach tower during Christmas time breathtaking
Get the souvenir popcorn bucket and the soda glass to get refills for a dollar all year!
You have to ride the griffon best ride in the park , make sure u ride in the front row!
The park is always clean and the employees are friendly . We always have a good time!
Tons of fun! My band played here years ago.
Make sure you know times everything open and closes to get you monies worth... #Mommy2Five
If you can come to ChristmasTown on a week night, they are MUCH less crowded !
Absolutely one of my favorite parks on the country . Great theming beautiful grounds, decent food, and fun rides!
Germany has some of the best deals on food. Ireland has great soda bread bowls of stew .
If you are coming here several days and water country USA buy the souvenir cup ... 99cent refills or free water in both parks
Come early for Hall-O-Scream and don't leave the park . You may not be able to get back if they reach capacity!
My family loves BG. Great rides, entertaining shows, good food.
A great park . I love to go to all the different countries especially Germany!
Pass the exit to BG, get off at the immediate exit after BG. And get back on interstate, then take THAT exit to BG- cuts time by at least 30 min when trying to get in during HS peak times.
Beautiful park . Because of the heat, don't forget to buy the 7.99 park cups! 99 cent refills!
Pay for preferred parking and quick pass -worth it
Roller coaster tour here is fantastic! Get. You tix. Well worth the money! U ride each coaster twice and go behind the scenes!
Likely the best coaster ride at the park. Lines can get long but with three operating cars moves quickly. Horizontal seating of 10 -- Nothing like the first row! - Mike H.
Great ride in that it has fun, unique aspects, but it is a little harder on he neck and shoulders than i expected. - Sarah Cox
Check out the gelato shop by the amphitheater/pavilion! Good stuff! They also have various Starbucks drinks at that stand. - Sara Levin
Try the Crepes and Coffee by the entrance of France; the crepes are really good & they proudly serve Starbucks coffee, too. The frapps are the best! :) - Analayne Ara Doctolero
The front seat is a different experience... at times it feels like the coaster is going to stop until it catches up with itself. - Bob Connell
LOVE THIS RIDE!! It makes you feel like you're flying:) You get to he highest point in the park and it has a wonderful view! - Emma
The new breakfast cart near the Globe Theater is a great way to grab breakfast and go! - Nora Marien
