The Underground hosts the most hard rock acts, & can get so humid with the pulse of dueling guitars and growls, it's a wonder the graffiti scrawled across the concrete walls hasn't melted off by now. Read more
I really like this venue. Alot of complaints from others about it being too stuffy inside for other concerts but it was fine tonight. Not hot or stuffy at all.
For all those who complain it's to hot there are a lot of bodies in there during a concert so this happens. Other than that this place is awesome and they spray you down afterwards ha
The Nile was recently approved for a liquor license! http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/music/the-nile-theater-in-mesa-finally-gets-a-liquor-license-7473638
A small but historic venue here in Arizona. Definitely worth seeing a performance at if one of your favorite bands schedules a show there.
one of the most legendary venues in az. bands such as blink 182, something corporate, etc... have played @ this venue. great sound and floor size. stage just short enough for an intimate setting .
Come by tomorrow night and also the following evening for a night of heavy metal and rock and roll by myself with Asking Alexandria and a bunch of our friends.
Another good standing room venue. Be sure to have a plan for after the show; security doesn't let you stick around for very long once the show is over, especially not in the alley behind the venue.
Lol of you're complaining about how hot its gets inside and that you feel like fainting. That shirt happens no matter where you go.
I love the Nile, but the Underground venue is the worst. Booking popular bands for the Underground is a huge mistake: heat, cramped, low ceiling, etc.
Just informed that one must pay for the privilege of reentry. Recommend you try any other option before seeing a show here. I downgrade my previous opinion to FAIL
Don't forget to dress in your summer gear as it's hotter than hell down here! Also, do not wear make-up because you will eventually sweat it off & have wasted your time.
get here early, Mesa has a sound ordinance so shows usually start/end early.
Stand on stage left! It's close to the stage and near where the bands chill .
Covela, Halocene, Gabe Kubanda, and We Were Strangers playing a FREE benefit show on June 30th from 1PM to 4PM!
So great. Seriously the thing to do in Mesa.
GreAt place for kids underage to see live bands !!!
First time here sound is really good and really enjoy the atmosphere
Get the bench seat on stage left!
I was on dateline here at a rave called "Lucky #@%$ happens" DRP!
Good shows
It is a furnace in there. Maybe if they turn on the ac more people would come.
It's horrible if there are two bands playing at the same time.
I can feel the floor vibrating. BEST THING EVER.
Nothing good I can possibly say about this venue. I don't know why I support this place. Typically wont come unless guest listed. Bands should never book shows here.
do not come here if you're claustrophobic, you can barely breathe. Good bands play here but its almost always packed tight.
Hot as hell downstairs... needs more air!
Band holdfast kicked ass
Hot and smelly... But always the best music
humid. hot. no air.
Been here less than 10 min, not impressed. No sense of place, why does a band book here?
the worst venue i've been to in AZ. the sound is good but it is hotter than hell inside and hard to keep from fainting.
Scene sluts; scene sluts everywhere
Dress like a clown every Thursday!
I hate this place! No beer & no air!!!
worst venue I have ever been to, acoustics suck and ventilation is terrible.
Possibly the best music venue I've been to in AZ in terms of all-ages access, and I especially like that the under 21 section is right in front of the stage. - Markus Rennemann
It's my favorite venue for concerts. I remember back when there was a moat between the stage and the fans... - Drew Gold
Bartender was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Great spot! - Elizabeth Sanders
I've enjoyed it anytime I ate here.. Good customer swrvice and dwcent food.. -Dolo - Chef Dolo
An awesome place for comic books and coffee! Last time I was there, they had a neat gaming room in the back as well. - Jon Hernandez
