Le Coq d'Or restaurant

A must visit French Restaurant , may be the oldest in Chiangmai. Beautiful live Piano and Guitar music make it a must for me when I am in Chiangmai Town .

The restaurant is surrounded by its beautiful private garden on the banks of the Ping River . The dining room is sophisticated moreover food was excellent, Perfection in both presentation and taste.

Lobster bisque and foie gras , both were very good. Pricey by Chiang Mai standards but worth the price. A great place for a romantic dinner .

Our signature dishes are Pan fried Foie Gras with peach sauce,Truffle soup ,Onion soup and also Matzusaka steak with truffle sauce !!! Yummy. :)
