Workhouse Arts Center

Studio 4 (bldg W-4) artists are a great group: NOT to be missed! They're always doing awesome month-long exhibits covered by local NoVA & DC media.

This is a really interesting set up. Historic prison built from the brick kiln down the road is now an art center with a farmer's market and some fitness classes . Fascinating.

Formerly a prison , the Workhouse is a place where you can watch artists at work, enjoy a theater performance or glass-blowing demo, a farmers market , cooking class , or just a stroll thru the gallery .

The Community Market on Saturdays is a great place for vendors and shoppers! Great location, yard games to play, live music , and nice restrooms close by (with air conditioning ).

This prison-turned-arts center is unique - each bunker houses a different artist who creates and sells art on the spot. They offer various classes and events to the public.

Farmers Market ! Every Thursday 11:00am -- 8:00pm Don't miss out on the fresh produce , meat, eggs , chocholate, coffee . And many delicious ready to eat items. <3 it

Great place for a meeting. There's conference space and a cafe , parking is easy, and it's not hard to get to (or get people to, if you're using transport).

Also the Lorton location for Metropolitan School of the Arts . A dance studio and performing arts high school .
