Mexican Sugar

Home for the long weekend finishing it out with taco lunches . Mexican sugar is one of the more refined Tex mex spots and does not disappoint. Go for tacos for a "lighter" lunch

Haven't had anything that hasn't been fabulous yet! Always ask if there are items not listed on menu - learned there's a shrimp torta not on menu.

Since it is new, make sure you get there close to the 5:00 opening time to get a table. We stood in line for door to open. It was very much worth it, very good food.

Ceviche was outstanding - we split the Filet - everything was superb - what a great atmosphere and a memorable night - we'll definitely be back.

Amazing Skirt Steak . Great Queso and chips . Our waiter was great and recommended the smoked pineapple margarita . Will definitely be back for everything!

I came here for lunch and I was really impressed from service to food. I had their mango pineapple infused water and crab enchiladas both amazingly good!

They have tables in front of fireplaces . If you are waiting for a tables, there are waiting tables throughout the restaurant , even in the back. The drinks on tap are not that great, get one handmade .

Excellent burger ("hamburguesa") with a Mexican twist, but substitute something in for the seemingly out-of-place roasted potatoes .

Awesome! Highly recommend the experience. Please go after 6 so I can get a seat when I arrive at 5:30

Excellent coffee served in french press . Try the habanero chicken tacos and the spiced chocolate avocado cake .

Get a craft cocktail at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere or be seated at the sofa and chairs in the middle of the restaurant .

the Pina Envy is amazing! they even held out the egg whites for me since I'm allergic :-) the queso Blanco is bomb, too!

Must have the Grilled Padron Peppers with kosher salt on the side. Citrus Hearts of Palm is light and full of flavor.

A tad on the pricey side but they really so have delicious food and drinks. Only down side - it's at shops of legacy.

Fantastic made to order Margs , which are hard to find in Texas, but restaurant is so loud , it's hard to have table conversation.

Great food and even better drinks! The skirt steak is perfection and definitely get a Mexican hot chocolate with dessert .

Nice attentive service . If more of us had been served Brussels sprouts like the shredded slaw here as children, they wouldn't have a bad rep! Tasty!

Really enjoyed the Mesquite Chicken , Queso Fresca and salsa , and the service from Jason! We'll be back.

Pumpkin flan , chocolate avocado cake and 4 leches cake are delish. Most of the drinks were strong but good.

Grapefruit Paloma drink is perfect mix between having a margarita and a spritzer- so good! Had to have 2

Flank steak / Skirt steak is unreal. And you HAVE to get the chocolate avocado cake !

The pancakes and amazing! The charizo breakfast enchiladas are great too.

Great for drinks and the chicken salad with the runny egg is surprisingly delicious.

This place was PACKED. Ppl were nice. Sangrias were great. If I ever go back to Plano again, I'm eating here.

You'll be hard-pressed to find better queso in Dallas. It's amazing.

Awesome guacamole and vegetarian tacos

Food is terrible. Given it a try twice. Only reason to come back is for the wonderful hibiscus margaritas !!

Brunch does not come with toast . You have to order a roll for your eggs
