The historic Woolworth Building was built in 1913. Today, NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies uses three floors for classrooms and offices .
Highly recommend the tour , especially the 90 minute tour which covers a bit more of the building.

The tip by the History Channel falsely indicates the Chrysler Building took tallest building away from this. In fact, it was actually 40 Wall Street which in turn was de-throned by the Chrysler.

You can admire the beautiful architecture in this building. It is known for its gothic structures , so make sure and look up to the ceiling ;-)

Tile work on the lobby ceiling is beautiful! Lobby of tv show Ugly Betty was filmed on one of the office floors upstairs. Will have to look into this vault business...
