Reasonably large selection of exhibits , many of which are playable - if busy it can be hard to find any free, playable , exhibits .
If you're a small group (4-8 people, 12+ years), try the game they offer! Can be done after 18:00, costs 2 Euros extra and gives you a different view of the museum and the exhibits !
This place almost made me cry of joy :) Though they should definitely add more stuff. Still - great place to take your kids and show them the real stuff from our childhood.
Really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. The museum is small but we spend quite some time walking around and playing video games . Especially the old arcades are awesome.
Interesting Museum , unfortunately they focus on the years 1995-2010 a lot, not digging that deep into the more interesting 1980-1995s area where most of the games and game genre have been invented.
A bit small, but quite modern with a nice collection representing gaming tech, innovation, history and culture. Much interaction, video and reading. Only for fans.
At this point, there was the Café Warschau with his musical garden restaurant . An impression of the former glory yet conveys the mosaic and the spiral staircase in the entrance of the museum .
Amazing museum about the evolution of video games ! Awesome statues of famous video game characters!
Amazing collection of video games and consoles spanning five decades. Loved the arcade ! Unfortunately the new VR experience was still under construction .
Best museum in Berlin! The arcade is a must-see (or must-play)
small but packed museum with interactive features (you can sit in an 80s living room and play pong)...
Small but worth the visit! So many games to engage visitors, even the most casual of gamers will have hours of fun here.
Genial for all computer games lovers . You can see first game consoles and home computers (for ex. ZX81) and play some old games on original old consoles.
A nice 20 minutes tour to back my childhood :) But I will never forgive them not including Lotus and Prince of Persia to their collection :) Anyways, worth the time and money spent.
Nice for computer game lovers , lots of retro games . But also very informative about the history of video gaming
A geek's heaven. No matter if you're an adult or just a kid, you are going to love it.
Reduced but really interesting exibition. It comes from early gaming adictions until the computer consoles and you can also play some of the exibits. Not that innovative or interactive visit, but fun.
really enjoyable museum , but a little bit small. It will take maximum 30 minutes with taking lots of photos.
Computer Game Museum just debuted in Berlin. Visit here for a walk down memory lane or a lesson learned as they explore the evolution of video gaming - from Pac-Man & Sonic the Hedgehog to Half Life..
Great collection of computers, super setting! It’s really a lot of fun and worth more than one visit.
It's still quite small, but promising! They have some nice arcade machines to try out and a great amount on information panels about the development of games. Not sure if overpriced entry fee though..
Seems small but time flies when you're inside. Make sure to have plenty of time to wander around. Also, try the PainStation in moderation.
Carry a valid student ID and grab a ticket for 5 euros, its cheaper than the discount you can get with a berlin welcome card :)
Perfect place to teach and show the art of gaming to kids.
It's not the best place. I wanted to hear more about recent development in games, different companies, more about the start of online gaming and MMO and more but they were missing.
If you have good knowledge about gaming history this place won't show you anything new. Highliights: original Vectrex, Computer space and Pong (two latest not playable )
Must visit place for all retro games lovers
Amazing place with many old arcade games . Must visit!
Try the PainStation if you're brave enough.
Worth visiting only if you have half a day or more and want to spend some hours in old games atmosphere.
More about the past than the future bit still a fascinating gem that's not to miss.
Brings back smiles and good memories.
Just been to the Computer Museum in Berlin. Love it!
Little and great museum . Nice video-game exposition . Try the Painstation if you are a man hahaha
Entertainment when the weather is cold and you have to let your inner geek out
Give the painstation a try. No permanent damage!
Worthy to spend even whole day if you're a nerd ;)
Love the Painstation . Great museum for gamers!
Brings me back to my old addiction, video games .
Use your Berlin Welcome card for a discount on entry.
Play any retro game you want!
Must see for home computer fanatics
Not as big or interesting as I'd hoped, don't need to go back for second visit.
Small and overpriced, but still pretty good. Take your time to read everything.
its nice and everything is well explained but for the size of the place it is a bit pricey
Brings good memories!
Small museum .. recommemded if you love gaming... but it is small...
If you're from the 80s, you will awww here.
Hours of fun!
Tickets are free for beautiful russian girls.
One of the best science museums I have ever visited and I already went with high expectations! It is huge, give it at least 2-3 hours. - johnlemon
Super cool modern museum with full sized models of planes and ships. Many attractions for children. Recommended - Felix Vladimirsky
All about communication for centuries. Remember to ask for the quiz leaflet at the entrance. Kids will have to find answers spread all over the museum. - Handem Erkay Güner
I love the street artist!! And the architecture is astonishing - Melissa Sue
A little outside if the city center but worth of visiting for 100%! Gallery Wall on the Wall great idea, interesting pics. - Anna Kopaniarz
They have every burger also in mini size! Try the Frittenmix with it, sweetpotatoe and normal fries, both are great. - Theresa Walenta
