Authentic , melt-in-your-mouth Loin Katsu . ???????? just the right amount of fat on the meat

Love maisen. Way better than Yabu. I like to mix it up and take each bite using a different sauce..don't forget the salt.
The hype was a bit much. The kurobuta was ok but the sauces overpowered whatever pork taste there was. The katsumabushi was novel , but again, the pork didn't shine.
Same concept as Yabu... I can't identify the diff :) but a must try in the area!
The place is small.. Like just any other katsu place, it's expensive .. Ordered the kurobuta tenderloin katsu set .. It's very filling..

Soft Shell Crab Taco-Maki is the winning item in the menu. Ebi Tempura is also very good, and at a good price too considering the serving! Unagi Truffle Soba is a bit too salty for my taste. - Kat Lo
