Ugo has upped it's gave with a Neapolitan approach to pizza . The dough is soft, chewy and non-aggressive. The topping combinations, such as the Pistachio , are well balanced.
Amazing pesto gnocchi (and I usually don't like gnocchi ), great pizza (margherita and pizza (fig , honey , goat cheese ), great lobster ravioli
Nice little authentic Italian spot . Their authentically certified Neapolitan Pizzas are available on their Happy Hour menu . Lots of variety to pick from and their pasta and pastries are all great.
Highlights: figo pizza (figs , honey , truffle oil , arugula , and goat cheese ), bottomless Bellini , outdoor seating .
Try pizza by the slice made YOUR way. You choose the toppings. Starts @ $2.50 + $.30 per standard topping and $.50 for each gourmet topping. Very inexpensive and very good!
Leave room for desert . The tiramisú is to die for, especially since its served in a chocolate bowl.
It's nothing fancy , but I've never been disappointed. From their 'great for a wait' wine bar to their gelato selection, the price vs quality is right. They even have breakfast .
It was delicious, and food tasted real Italian but the restaurant was very LA, I wish it had more of an Italian vibe to it. Over priced a LiL too, for not getting an Italian experience. Small place.
There are two restaurants that operate separately but are connected. They have different offerings. Look at both menus first then decide which Ugo you want to be seated.
Ask for a Xante mojito (sub the rum and ask for half the sugar) Absolutely delicious! 35 calories for an all natural sweet pear flavored mojito .
Wine card can be fun for sampling, but we all had more fun sitting in one place, enjoying a normal glass of wine and catching up.
Great stop for a cup of Joe, gelato , dessert , or dinner . Wine bar next door is a cool spot and is open later than the cafe . Read more
Al fresco dining, cup of coffee and a conversation w Francesco from Rome make an ideal great LA morning.
best ice creams in the area, the peanut butter one is delicious
The Pistachio Pizza is amazing!
Half off the entire menu on mondays! Nice food.
Sit by the bar . The bartender Yorlin has the best recs!
Try the Pizza Quattro Fromagi with honey truffle oil
This place was disappointing. I ordered a pear salad . The dressing was overpowered with bitter garlic which ruined the rest of the salad for me as the garlic was all you could taste. Service was poor.
Fantastic gelato for a mid Sunday afternoon.
If you get an omelet with sour cream , make sure you get it on the side. Otherwise, they put it inside and it turns in to a soup .
Big, dog friendly patio outside!
i won’t come back. the pizza is okay, defiantly not great. the rest of the menu should be avoided like the plague
Get the hot Italian chocolate
Tried the Salmon and was fabulous...it is very relax atmosphere and as Kim W. says don't go there for quick food...
Amazing wine list
This place has done down the drain. Waited 30 minutes for service, no water was even offered. Got up and left. When we told management we were leaving they simply said "ok". Never going back.
Delicious food. Impressively slow service.
great food and atmosphere. not a place to eat if you're in a hurry. very relaxed Italian atmosphere .
The (meat) lasagna is amaaaazing. You can get it vegetarian as well !
Good pizza flat bread
Amazing gelato .
Their four cheese sauce is delicious!
Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart
The apple pie is awesome!
I don't like to write anything negative but this place is kinda fail. Not tasty at all. But the price is pricey tho!
Great Pasta !!!
The bread here is fantastic
The chou chou gelato is yum yum!
Skip the pasta piselli, get gnocchi .. Desserts are fab!
Desserts are the best part of their menu.
an American take on Italian food .
Kapowski and I ate here
The first spot I ate at in Culver city about mm yrs ago, awesome Italian food and gelato and people watching
Pumpkin ravoli is way too sweet.
Go here if you enjoy poor management & sub-par food...
Horrible service when busy. Waited ten minutes waiter never came to the table so I got up and left
This place is terrible!!!
Smells like a dead rat in here.
Don't eat here.
Definitely a fun place to hang out with friends and sample interesting wines at your own pace. The service here is great, too! - Superb
marinara, tomato source and garlic bread. very good. if you come alone, you can choose side salads. nice size. - さいとう かつや
Start off with the buratta plate and an elderflower gimlet--fresh goodness. The gnocchi or boar in chocolate sauce pasta is fab too. - Christine Ngo
The pizza is awesome; sausage party is my favorite. Their beer list is always great and they have tap takeovers, which are always a fun time! - Edward Chan-Lentz
The food is great enough that I come here for dinner first, beer second. Try the artichoke on the appetizer menu; it is massive and delicious, and the fresh mozzarella pizza is killer. - Amanda McGill
