Railay Beach West is a beach Krabi located in Thailand.
Railay Beach Krabi Changwat Krabi 81000 Thailand
Only accessible by longtail boat. 100B from aonang beach . Worth it as it is a nicer beach than aonang's. Do visit Phra nang bay as well which is walkable via railay east . Lovely light during sunset .
Do not forget to rent a kayak and take a ride in the surroundings. The view is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Better than Ao Nang! For those who wanted to visit railay for a half day, you’d better catch your ride back to ao nang beach before 8pm. Or else, you need to pay 450 baht for a person! That’s triple
????????????????????????✨???????????????? quite and peac ????⛵️???? I like this place more than Aonang in face not far away just next Centara Hotel you should try! And to whoever muslim no need to worry about halal food
Classic visit while visiting Krabi Province. Beautiful beach to spend a whole day. Wide beach , beautiful sights, and its own petite commercial street.
Don’t over think this. No reservations going or returning to Ao Nang. Highly recommend starting at Phra Nang, taking the forest walkway to Railay Bay East, then returning to Railay proper for depart.
Can beaches get any prettier? This is my happy place and where got engaged. Mostly families and couples. The few party backpackers usually were only there during the day.
This is a must-visit for rock climbing enthusiasts. The beach can get pretty packed, as it is a very well-known spot for outdoor pursuits. Go early to avoid crowds.
Nice place to chill and swim by the beach , not too crowded . Take a longtail boat from Ao Nang beach to get there.
Despide the weather, the place is amazing. Unbelieveable beach . Witness the sunset is one of the most beautiful things to do if u lucky enough to find a shinny day
Access by long tail boat (100 baht each way). Beach doesn't have much shade and is crowded in peak season if you're looking for tropical paradise!
Be VERY careful as you wade in from the longtail if you come in at low tide. There are many sharp rocks and all of us cut our feet badly ???? Easier to get on/off longtail boat in Railay East .
If you truly want to experience Thailand and go a little bit off the beaten path away from the touristy resorts go to tonsai beach which lays directly next to railay!
Don't Miss to enjoy the food from railay kitchen..ala cart n BBQ was superb.damn good resort with friendly service from the staff ..great beach ..everything perfect .good for honeymoon n family vacation
One of the best beaches in thailand! Loved being there. Wish I could have stayed more.
You can walk to Phra Nang Beach by taking the "Walking Street" to its end at Railay East ; then turn right and follow the path to the very end. Or you can just rent a kayak .
West Railay has great sand and beautiful water. It's a clean beach , totally recommend it!
best beach in krabi and nice chilled little strip with bars etc
Try to stay at a hotel in Railay east , near the beach . The way west side is disgusting. But on the west side the restaurants are better and cheaper and bars are fun. In facteverything is cheaper there

Water and beach so beautiful. But DNP management need to restrict people and boats. More space allocated to boats then the swimming areas. a bit sad, this'll end up like Pattaya.
So gorgeous! Lots of shaded areas too if you want a bit of a breeze. Can go kayaking around the mountains .
Private longtail boat from Ao Nang for 1600thb return per boat. Otherwise wait and take shared (10ppl) for 100thb each way.
When you disembark, go to left side of the beach . In the right side, there are many rocks in th water. I even cut my feet on them.
Lovely beach and best sunset
Recommend to stay on the west beach , clear beach and you'll have your own sunset view every evening. :)
The ferry ride is lovely small restaurants for a quick bite do take towels along and a change of clothes for kids
Nice beach and good starting point to hike to the look out point in that area
Busy beach but great views and some nice restaurants available.
Better to stay here than other beaches in Krabi
Walk to the viewpoint and lagoon - but beware the monkies - they steal iPhones
Wonderlust! One of the best beaches i have ever been on.
Nice beach but very high prices compared to Ao Nang. Alot of small stones in the water and really crowded doesn't look like the pictures you Google
Between east and west you will find lot of trash! Staying here for 2 days is enough!
The best placed i visited ever
"The last bar " is a must. Beautiful beach , splendid rock
When feeding the monkeys beware they will try to take your glasses, camera ,hats, etc. DON'T turn your back on them to take pictures!!!
South of Railay Beach offers rock climbing at 250 Thai bhat per person. Awesome!
Fantastic Little cove, definite must if you have time to explore just make sure you take lots of fluid :)
Great beach , seems to be like in a movie , really amazing! Try going out with a kayak !
Gorgeous, fun beach at high tide!
One of the 'most to be places' in Thailand. Get a hotel in front of the beach , not expensive
Great if you are looking for a quiet time, great for kids and trekking
Crowded , but very pretty. Get back with the last boat before 6 pm
Don't be openly carrying any food when monkeys are nearby as they will cow for it!
Nice beach with many broken shells. Mind ur steps
Be sure to visit "the last bar ". Cheap drinks , great (live) music and amazing fireshows!!!
Such a lovely place to relax with grey views !
The most expensive place I've seen around, water's never deeper than your knee, rocky bottom I cut my hand. Great views tho. But I'm heading to another place
Plenty of restaurants and last boat departs at midnight.
Nice beach, beautiful view, white powder sand, no sun beds and you can buy everything on the beach ;) - Tanja Tulonen
One of the best beaches near Krabi and Ao Nang. Good for climbing. Viewpoint is worthwile climbing. - Dalibor Dolezal
The cave is very small but in a stunning bay with rock climbing nearby and an interesting walk. The path is underwater (but still passable through a little rubbish sadly) at certain times. No fee. - Richard Burkhill
Beautiful sea water, sandy beach, colourful long tai boats. Heaven on earth - Yin
