Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Garden is a garden Avalon located in United States.
1402 Avalon Cyn Rd Avalon , CA 90704 United States
Garden is a little lacking but you can get in for free if you make this the end of your hike by going up the Hermit Gulch trail and coming down the Garden to Sky trail .
There are two sets of stairs to get to the top of the memorial; the right side has regular steps while the left has easier, long steps.
Botanical garden is worth the price of admission. I’d never seen desert plants like these before!
The walk up to the top of the memorial is less strenuous if you head up on the left side instead of the right.
We rode beach cruisers up here and you should get a discount at the Botanical Garden for riding a bike cuz it's a heck of a climb
It's a nice little uphill walk. Very peaceful . Once u get to the memorial sit and relax...the view is breathtaking up there :)
Come during lunch and they don't charge, just a donation, and the regular fee is 7$, 3$ for students
Check out the different cacti... Look for the Old Man Cactus ????????
Like hiking ? Take the Hermit Gulch/Divide Road /Wrigley Road Loop (5 miles) and it'll leave you right inside FOR FREE! :)
Very cool chance to take a look at the native fauna found on the island ...
Wait in the shaded outdoor “amphitheater ” for the shuttle to take you back to town .
It's quite a walk but the view is nice
Go across the little bridge to find a quiet area .
The memorial building is pretty nice with an amazing view . Nothing much in the botanical garden .

It's all about the happy hour. Excellent $1 street tacos and $19 for a margarita pitcher can't be beat! Skip the restaurants on the main strip and take the short walk to the Sandtrap. - Mark Sturn
Beautiful views of both sides of the island from the top. But it’s hot!!! - eric bornemann
All day we luxuriated on our lounge chairs while attentive servers brought us cold bottled water, fruit smoothies, and, best of all, fresh fruit skewers. This is the place for a day at the beach. - Jetset Extra
