The "open omakase " is more expensive but well worth the extra money
Fresh delicious off the charts sushi . Go for the open omakase
via PureWow: "Slightly more affordable in at the Park Slope location compared to the new West Village spot, where the sushi omakase is $52 (vs $60), and the sashimi+sushi omakase is $72 (vs $87)."
Omakase at the bar . Great deal, fresh and very well done. Also had some marinated baby squids and it was amazing too.
Great sushi and friendly service . Very accommodating. Salmon , fatty tuna and uni were the highlights. Don’t forget to finish with mochi
Service was very good. Fish was only decent considering price point. I had the omikase and it didn’t blow me away. Sashimi was very good. Crappy way to blow a Benjamin though.
Some of the best sushi I've had. Omakase was delicious. Even the edamame was notable.
Get the omakase
I went here last night and called in advance- made a reservation for 2 for omakase at the bar but got seated at a table and they wouldn't accommodate us. That was a minus. Amazing food. Slow service.
The omakase is wonderful!
Authentic sushi . Get the Omakase and sit at the bar .
Good food. Waiters up your ass pressuring you to order the moment you sit down. Asked to turn the heat down as we were sweating profusely, and they obliged..only to turn heat back on 5 min later. ????????
Get the Omakase !
Great deal for omakase
If you sit by the bar is pretty good! Otherwise it’s not great
大トロ! Fatty Tuna is so good.
Rolls and special nigiri! Especially, Salmon and seared tomaro roll is my favorite. Don't bother with your usual order and Let the chef bring out their special sushi - Levent Akgerman
$125 15 course omakase. different flavor combinations from a “traditional” omakase, but it was appreciated nonetheless - Suzy Tran
One of the absolute best omakases in NYC! Mitsu was executive chef at Jewel Bako for years. Intimate 8-seat space and incredible progression of fish. - Kendra Borowski
The cookies and cream ice cream is hands down my favorite flavor here. Having a scoop after a long day at work really lifts my mood. The cookie chunks are very prominent and the scoops are large ???? - Ashley Chan
SmLl cocktail bar above five guys. Great ambiance and drinks. Order their special five Guys burger and fries! - No Leftovers Jackie Gebel
Lovely for after-work quick dates. Sit in the park during warm months and enjoy the waterfall. Brick oven pizza/restaurant right down the block and Rare restaurant too. - Nina M
