Another tip said it was "ghetto looking" ...really?! Downtown they'd say "rustic and charming"! It's very clean w/cute artwork and handmade stuff. The service is so friendly and the food is amazing.
Downstairs is great spot. A minimal but chic interior. Food was very good,. but not a big menu. Bar prices excellent There were several bands jamming . Cool vibe overall. Love the bar lights!
I went to see a very close friend perform . The vibe is positive, the food and beverage are reasonably priced, and the music magnifies an already wonderful experience. I'd recommend it.
Awesome cozy place. We brought our kids for the live music , everyone is fienly. The service is very friendly too. Food delicious. One of the best falafel around
I love the downstairs ! It's relaxing and very chill . Love the hookah and the drinks are strong. Went with my fiance and for happy hour and had a good time.
Cafe ? check. Giftshop? check. Bar ? check. Music ? check. Lounge ?.....Well , you get the idea by now. This venue has (3) levels so be sure to ask for a mini tour . The downstairs is state of the art cool!
They hold some nice live acts in a very cozy space downstairs . Hookah is tobacco-free, if you are into that sort of thing. Really good vibes from the whole scene.
Cool spot. Food and vibe are top notch. But if you go there- whoa boy, the service is atrocious so just prepare yourself.
Update 12/9/13: They took my chair advice and changed the majority of them. Really makes my experience that much better. Great music every time I've been here and the food is always spot on.
This place has the charm of a cozy spiritually uplifting loft. Free wifi . GREAT service and amazing food. Good vibes all around. A gem for this neighborhood !
Ambiance was nice when they figured out the music volume and proper lighting. Food was excellent, Chairs were very uncomfortable for those with larger thighs...overall a very good speakeasyish spot.
My official new neighborhood coffee spot ! Serving Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee and great Middle Eastern food … How can you possibly go wrong?
Where do I begin? I love this place. Great shakshuka , frozen margaritas , and perfect for a chill happy hour .
Best falafel you will ever have!! And I know my falafel around the city . Take my word. Love the vibe here too!
Great place. Very interesting atmosphere and cool design. You'll love the lounge/stage bar downstairs .
Downstairs lounge has a great vibe, good DJ , great service, eclectic crowd. Would definitely come again.
Great place for a soulful musical experience. Dancing and reasonably priced drinks.
Came for brunch . Had the egg sandwich with Israeli salad ad hummus . Absolutely incredible.
This place is delicious. Try the babaghanoush
Really good music , really fun crowd. Have a seat and munch on some pita .
Live music is great. I really like the places vibe in general. Although food and coffee is pretty mediocre.
Cozy place in harlem with live music downstairs . Give it a try!
Great place! Different music almost every night. Hookah after 10, what's better?
A cool low key place w live performances and a DJ after midnight on the weekends
The Silvana salad plate is lovely! Wish they had fresh bread though...
Everything here is amazing: the crowd, the music , the prices.
Really cool vibe. Love this place. But be prepared for atrocious service.
Great vibes ????
The falafel with Rabin sauce good taste!
Hidden gem . Great music during the week! Get there early.
It's like visiting your bohemian cousins who never have to leave their flat because they have everything they'd ever need right there.
Casual vibe with decent Sabich and good coffee
Awesome live music , food, and booze. Great staff .
Awesome food and a great space.
Lavander and peach tea is great!
Good Coffee . Love the open mic night !
Falafal on pita . Intricate knick knacks and creative candles.
Best place in the immediate and not-so-immediate vicinity.
The falafel and music are an excellent combination.
Solid food and wonderful wide-ranging evening gigs, but the service is so very poor especially downstairs . I was sitting at least 10 minutes and no one even gave me a menu. :(
Saturday Nites are super live. Throw on some flats and go dance the nite away....literally
I do not recommend this place. I went here on a Sat. night. I thought it was a hookah bar but its just a basement bar & it's ghetto. A fight broke out with the bar tender & patrons, left immediately.
Astoundingly awful service. Waiters had to be reminded constantly of bringing bread and after 1 hour I asked again and the waiter said in a rude way that kitchen was overwhelmed. Really, for 2 pitas ?
Great food, great atmosphere!
Nice, bar with free live music
Delicious food and good music
Loved the belly dancing
Free wifi here! The code is: 10021974
Went here for a party but staff at the door were quite pushy and aggressive. Not very hospitable or friendly .
The falafel is a winner
Very nice and clean restaurant. Loved the curry chicken and the Lamb with Hummus and Pita bread. Make sure you also try the Samosas! - ✨#IamRomdelacrème✨
The French toast... Amazing! Well cooked and the cream just makes it pop. Worth every penny. - Cindy Folson
The restaurant has reopened!!!! Have the tuna carpaccio and the lamb! The owners are great local Harlem folks. - Sloane Klevin
Great food, drinks, ambiance/music... And the staff is super helpful and friendly. Love the outdoor seating on a nice day too. - Mitch Gross
Best cookie in NYC, hands down. Stick with the chocolate chip and walnut. It's a brick! 6oz. - Nabeel
Good food and drinks. A tad expensive, but excellent, intimate environment. Great place to hang out with friends. - John Gardiner IV
