Science World at Telus World of Science, Vancouver is a science centre run by a not-for-profit organization Science World. Passionate about science, a place to visit again & again. Activities for kids
GREAT option for rainy days in Vancouver. Our first trip here I brought my science loving 11 and 13 year old boys. Dedicate the entire day to it, a lot to see and learn! Awesome marble run out front!
Science World also does some amazing after hours events ! They hold their own events or you can rent it out! The green roof has an amazing view and atmosphere!
Nice place for a date! A lot of children running around at peak hours, but it’s not as busy around dinner time (4-6).
A great adventure for your children and worthwhile trip to Vancouver. There are so many displays, activities, interactive exhibits for children, plan to spend at least few hours here.
Excellent to spend time with the kids, they learn wile learning!! I think it could be a good place to visit often if you live beer by.
I wouldn't come here without kids. It's a super fun and loud place where kids can get hands-on science experience. We go once a year.
Science World is one of our family's favorite spots. So much to do for all ages. Be sure to take the demonstration shows at center stage at various times in the day. The "Toy Show" episode is great!
Watch the Rocky Mountain Express at the Omnimax Theatre then walk down to Mainland and Nelson street in Yaletown to see a real railway caboose!
The renovations will be SO worth it. They were badly needed and will set the museum up for many many more years of success. It saddens me to read comments of the naysayers: you're gonna be blown away!
The screaming kids and tantrums are a great way to resist the temptation to go forth and multiply.
Dream place for kids. Sooo much stuff to play with, touch with, experiment with all day long. Really cool place.
Strongly recommend to have at least three hours if you are first time to there. You will want to stay here for long. Also there is fast food available.
Just minutes away, a visit to Science World bestows an interesting, fun-filled educational adventure. I personally really liked the BodyWorks exhibit !
So easy to get caught up in the mind puzzles on the bottom floor. Make sure you see everything!

Either it's a technical fault or a misguided effort to save money on bulb costs, but the IMAX movie was dim and murky. Movies look better on my home TV , I'd give it a miss.
Definitely aimed at families with kids , rather than say, science museum in London. But still fun!
Kids will love this museum -- lots to see!
A great place to take the kids on the weekend, and you might learn something yourself.
You should go to see the movie , the film and the room are so awesome...
Great for whole family
Great for kids, alright for adults, but a bit expensive ~$23 for admission

So much to do! A must visit especially with your kiddos!
During the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Russian security guards will wave families with kids through to bypass the huge lineup to see Russia House! Awesome!
Cool, but less for all ages and more for small kids.
looks cool for pictures at night
Always fun! Check out the special events after dark annually!
Look for the big geodesic dome and explore the interactive exhibits .
