Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina

Love this hotel . Great outdoor seating with fire pits at the main restaurant Red Marlin & I'm in awe of the huge cylindrical fish tank in the Swim bar . Great work out room overlooking harbor .

I've stayed here 4 times in the last 5 years and it's been a great hotel every time. Get a tower room on a high floor if you can!

We stayed in the Tower , Marina side , 15th floor. Sea lions did not keep us up. Coffee/breakfast sandwiches are a quick walk to “The Market .” Small fridge in the room was handy.

Rent a paddle board or kayak !! Instead of spending a hundred bucks to sit on a jet ski for a hour, you get a nice work out for under twenty $!! :) if you need help, the people are nice and patient too

This hotel is directly under the flight path of departing airplanes from the San Diego airport . It’s also an old hotel , and rooms are not well maintained.

Get a high floor room in the tower looking toward the ocean.

Get a ground floor room adjacent to the pool and hot tub . Watch out for extraneous charges when you get the bill! But overall very good.

Enjoy delectable dishes and imaginative cocktails at the SWIM bar and lounge . The amazing bay views are a bonus too!

Love hyatt's. This is a great one with excellent service. If you can get a suite on the water go for it!

Take advantage of the free hour kayak or SUP rental!

It's a nice place, as long as you have a view . The pool and water slide are worth going too.

Going to Sea World? Take the ferry ! A scenic boat ride and you get dropped off at a special entrance at the back of the park .

DON'T STAY ON MARINA SIDE OF HOTEL...BARKING SEA LIONS WILL KEEP YOU UP ALL NIGHT...NIGHTMARE!

It is beautiful but bring food since they keep early hours.

They upgraded me from a regular garden queen to an ocean view in the Tower because it was my birthday!!

Do the tandem water slides and see who shoots out first! Awesomeness!

Room in the main building is poor. I'm a Marriott girl.. reminds me why I avoid the Hyatt. Lovely noisey elevator forecasts a terrible night sleep. Property is pretty.. but who cares if sleep is bad.

Suites are nice but it's noisy near the marina . Great staff !

Make sure you plan for the extra $20 they charge for parking over night

If staying in the 'off season' prepare to drive for all your meal, snack or coffee needs M-W. Everything is closed except for overpriced room service or one over priced restaurant .

The third floor of the Marina Suites building is the best.

A gym with a great view of the marina

Corner rooms with a view of the ocean are worth the extra $.

Watch the sunset over the Pacific from your balcony . Beautiful view .

If they let you upgrade to a junior suite for cheap , do it!

Book an apointment at the Blue Marble Spa . A bit pricy but SO worth it

Concierge are super friendly !!!Remember to tip them well too ;-)
