The staff was kind and extremely helpful and their menu is bilingual (Japanese and English). The atmosphere is warm, quiet , and reflective.

The most expensive of each category is well worth the $$. If solo, get the Tenka-ichi Gyokuro: incredible flavor profile with distinct notes; it redefined my understanding of green tea !

Go earlier for some early bird drinks at the tea room otherwise at peak times, put yourself on wait list. Try the matcha - koicha style (thick and flavorful) - u can get two styles of matcha this way)

Wonderful place for tasting Japanese teas and in particular varieties of matcha tea . Price is on the upper level, but worthy.

The tea you drink here is rather expensive and preparing it (which you have to do yourself) is complicated but then again this is also some of the best tea I have ever drunk so highly recommended.

TEA TASTIN AND TESTIN

A cup of tea is around 15e. although I enjoy matcha in other foods, the tea was so intense, so bitter - i was barely able to give it a small sip. By far the worst thing I have ever tasted.

抹茶 やポットサービスで提供されるお茶がとても美味しいです。お茶菓子 が付いてくるメニューでは予めアレルギーの確認があり、配慮を感じます。ポットサービスのお茶は概ね1,080円でお茶は三杯淹れられるそうです。

落ち着いた雰囲気で、海外からのお客さんも多数いらっしゃいます。本当に美味しいお茶を頂くこと ができますよ。濃茶 を注文すると、後からお湯を足して薄茶(いわゆる普通の抹茶 )も楽しめるのでおすすめです。

一保堂さんは、1717年創業のお茶の老舗 です。京都本店以外では唯一の路面店がこちら。お昼 にはデミタスカップでお気軽に抹茶 が頂けます。

京都で290年歴史を持つ老舗 茶舗が丸の内に、「明昔」のほか玉露、煎茶、番茶が楽しめる、和の心に触れてほっと一息どうぞ

お抹茶 を目の前でたてて供してくれるのでより一層美味しく感じる。

テイクアウト の出来るお茶は、ほうじ茶 と玉露。京都の本店とココでしか対応してない。シーズンにより、抹茶 もある。

マイボトルでテイクアウト の煎茶、ほうじ茶 315円です。ほうじ茶 なら2煎目まで入れてもらうこと も出来ます。

散歩ついでにテイクアウト のお茶も楽しめる。とても美味い????
