If you want Filipino-style grilled street food visit the famous Mang Larry's Isawan... Fast, cheap and delicious barbeque . Oops did I say fast? Long lines are worth the wait!
Prices are: PhP6-botchi, goto, special isaw pork , balun-balunan; PhP3-isaw baboy, isaw manok; PhP10-pork bbq ; and my all-time favorite Mang Larry Style chicharon bulaklak at PhP30.
Filipino street-food at its finest. Super sarap, specially ng Chicken Isaw . Long lang ang line when we went there, but it's worth the wait. Cheap pa compared to other isawan like Bachetto.
You can't go wrong with their isaw ! Only Php 3 per stick. Open daily from 2pm-9pm, until supplies last so come early and bring a chair! ;-)
They now have a newly refurbished stall, well all UP Maninidas now have, courtesy of Lucky Me and with more pockets for dining.
Don't dare miss the isaw baboy if it happens that you drop by here! Also, you can have it at php3.00 only! :))
There always a long queue but isaw is totally worth it!
Clean street food ! Worth the trip and wait! There is a systematic ordering process! Isaw freshly cooked by order. Two types of "sawsawan" free with your isaw !
When you buy something here, buy a lot so that the waiting time will be worth it.
best isaw in the metro! ???????? isaw-chicken for 6 pesos per stick ????
Ever since. They're goto is the best I have tasted ????????????
I think mang Larry is a vampire. I got alot older after UP. This guy still looked the same after 15 years. Same isaw sauce. Sweet sauce and vinegar, mixed. Stirred by isaw . Not shaken.
There's an order taker, "chef " and "butler" hehe! I paired my isaw with avocado shake . How's that for dinner ? Solve!
Go on a Sunday if you want to see Mang Larry himself!
You have to try the isaw with the sauce????
