Getting away with murder can be so much fun, and there’s no better proof than the new comedy of manners (well, bad manners) that has won unanimous raves and is now knocking them dead on Broadway! It’s A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER—think “Downton Abbey,” with a delightfully depraved edge.
219 W 48th St (btwn Broadway & 8th Ave) New York , NY 10036 United States
Lovely theatre but seats are extremely small. I will have to keep it in mind and order an aisle seat in the future.
On the smaller side with a pretty steep mezzanine . Every seat is good.
Lysistrata Jones was excellent last night, very youthful, cast extremely energetic/attractive, running/jumping around, great music/lyrics/dancing, Patti Murin is a stand out & future star, great voice
Like most Broadway theatres , The Walter Kerr is on the opulent side. Smaller in size but that's the beauty of it. I actually prefer a smaller more intimate theater as I find the acoustics to be better
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Jefferson Mays was once again was one of the highlights of the show. I saw him in I Am My Own Wife. Outstanding play. A must for Broadway! Bravo.
One of the best Broadway theaters . Small and intimate even from the two row balcony which usually has seats at a cheap price.
Jefferson Mayes is wonderful in Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder! Here he is with my friend Kathleen and me, collecting for Broadway Cares (worth the $10!).
The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is a fantastic broadway show. The stage blocking was very creative.
It's a great space, but even as someone who usually gets the cheap seats in the mezzanine I can't recommend the balcony level.
Beautiful theatre with a great technical set up. Even the last row of the top balcony didn't feel like a bad seat.

There's just barely enough room for a small bag at your feet, but if you have a bulky coat prepare to be cramped in the incredibly narrow seats.
Sat at the far back of the mezzanine . Still good seats (for Springsteen), other than the fact that the seats are tiny, and legroom is limited.
If u want something relaxing and hilarious, come and see gentleman's guide. U will have a good face workout.
It's a smaller theatre , so I still had a good view sitting Orchestra Row N. Watch a Gentlemen's Guide To Love and Murder!
Center mezz fab view . Bernadette peters is why musical theatre exists. Shes achingly heartbreaking and intuitively funny, witty spot on timing. Brilliant!
Beautiful gilded art adorning the sides of the theater
Cozy small theatre . "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" is very funny, and, as someone said, relaxing.
One of the cozier theaters I've been to. Not really a bad seat in the house!
Not the best designed theater . Some Orchestra seats have partial view because of the way mezzanine level is designed and bathroom is weirdly position. Seat size is reasonable.
$35 tickets for people 35 and under, day of at the box office . Got great 6th row orchestra seats !
A Gentlemans Guide to love & murder: go see it. Great play, great laugh, enjoyed every Minute of it.
Bathrooms are upstairs: women's up the stairs near the street, men's on the other side of the concession stands.
If you're in the Orchestra section, make sure you bring some warm clothes ! We froze for 2.5 hours - with light jackets on. We asked them to turn the AC down a little but it never happened.
The dancing was absolutely amazing. Orchestra was fabulous. Definitely recommend it!
Very beautiful ceilings and great view for the show you are attending
Walter Kerr has very tight seating side to side. Seats were comfy and great view of stage from rear orchestra seats . I would highly recommend A Little Night Music . Great Show!
Beautiful theater ! Saw A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder here. Very cozy !
Mezzanine is good view of stage from all seats, but the rows are very tight!
The mezzanine seating here is the best view of the stage.
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is hilarious!! Absolutely enjoyed the show
It is impossible not to have a great time at this hilarious, smart and sexy new musical ! Give it up for Lysistrata Jones!
Three cheers for Gentleman's Guide on all your amazing Tony wins! Read more
Very small theatre but A Gentlemen's Guide to Murder is a very good show if you're into crude humor
Walter Kerr has a two row balcony which has a partially blocked sightline for the far-downstage area (unless you are tall or can lean forward without interfering with someone else's sightline)
Not a bad seat in the house!
Get there when the box office opens to get student rush tickets. Great value !
Sat in the very back and still had a great view !
Nice theater but the rows could really use a bit more spacing
There is always a line at a show for the bathroom . Squeeze it out before dahling ;)
The first of what would be many New York theaters to be named "The Ritz". Home to the Broadway debut of Catherine Zeta-Jones!
Cozy . Check the summer listings.
Great music ! Looking forward to a soundtrack. Not entirely sold on the plot. Loved Lindsay Nichole Chambers as Robin.
Orchestra or Mezzanine but never ever Balcony !!!
Congratulations to Gentleman's Guide for being the most Tony-nominated show of the season! Read more
Very solid play and worth seeing for Stiller's, and the nuns' performances alone.
Clybourne Park is brilliant! Do yourself a favor and see it.
Great show. Amazing dancers.
The space between rows is REALLY small.
Amazing cast. Well worth it!!
Excellent production with impeccably performed, atmospheric storytelling, incredible music and characterization. Hadestown seems simple at first, but it's profoundly moving and deeply emotional - ℳ????????♍
Come From Away is absolutely unmissable. So much heart, tempered with a lot of humor. - Rachel Clark
Every seat is enjoyable. We have seen such brilliant productions here, from Stoppard to Shepherd and Bernhardt:Hamlet. - ???? Abbie Slaman ????
I love this theatre! Nice and small but roomy seats. - BECKY COLLINS
Worth the wait. Burgers to die for and the blueberry lemonade is superb - Shannon Elizabeth
