Back in the day, Oilers fans weren’t allowed to tailgate at the Astrodome. Now, Houston fans park outside Reliant well before kickoff with ol’ fashioned Texas BBQ . If you haven’t already, get some.

When we go to events here, we park our cars downtown, hop the Metro to Reliant Park and then ride the train back to enjoy a few hours of urban barhopping instead of dealing with the logjam.

Oh dear, parking is terrible. I try and park at the Braeswood Park & Ride when I can and take the Rodeo or special event shuttle over. It's a great alternative, trust me.

If you come to the event without a parking pass, arrive extra early to snag a spot at one of the nearby lots. Parking is always an issue here.

The yellow lot is one of the best lots for tailgating before Houston Texans games. You have to get there early though since in fills up fast.

Activities for those here an hour before the show starts. Speed to include powering some Circus animals. Haven't seen that actually happen yet but I may be in the wrong place.

Nice place. Staff is always helpful and most restrooms and concessions have no wait. Roof is never open though...
