from the early 1900's through the 1950s was neighborhood store "The Del Monte Grocery " - In 1981, the building was reinvented as "The Del Monte Cafe" by Debbie & Mark Collins.
Nice spot for brunch . Get a spot on the patio if you can! I got the breakfast burrito with no chorizo because I’m vegetarian , and they substituted avocado for free. Generous portions for the price!
Good ol' comfort food . Great service, delicious meal, reasonable prices. Highly highly recommended.

Pancakes are huge and awesome. If they have them get the blueberry ones, and share them with someone!
The service is friendly but very inattentive. The milk for coffee was curdled on one table and my coffee mug had lipstick on it. The food was decent but no coffee refills.
