Great place to relax after a long day either working or being at major events nearby, sure it can be steep but that's what to expect from venue bars , really love the atmosphere of the place!
A lot more like a traditional pub than its sister bar at the other end of ExCel. Shows all football and does attract the locals.
Nice little pub if your working at the ExCel. Especially if Lenny is on the door.

Decent affordable food right next to the excel. Not bad for a lunch meeting either
A good spacious place to socialise. outside and in, as the surrounding area is quiet . Can be expensive though.
Even better now that they have their own hotel above the pub - better than the Travel Inn

Qualty of food is what you can expect from a place in a conference venue. This means it's ok, but not really good. But need to mention that it's not overpriced.

Hmmm - kids were hungry & tired .. so not much option but almost walked out after 15 min wait at bar after countless others were served before us (it wasn't especially busy!) food not good :( poor

Friendly staff , great atmosphere, nice venue.
Waitress messed up 2 seperate orders and refused to give the right food to the right customers. Had to wait another 15mins for my meal and another guy at a different table waited even longer. Poor!

Pretty awful pub , expect to wait half an hour for a badly poured pint when there's an event on at the ExCel
Chicken melt is pretty decent value for money

Be ignored at the bar for more than half an hour then finally be curtly told that everyone has been waiting as long as you have been, with no apology offered.

Triple Roast on Sunday was pretty good; most impressed! Dingley Dell pork was the best of the 3, and a super-sized Yorkshire pud topped it off nicely. :-) - Chris B
This is a great place. Atmosphere, food, service. A little too quick sometimes but you can always ask for a breather. We came Fri night and sat for 3 hrs and no hassle to move on. Highly recommended - Mark Topley
