Roanoke Star

A sight to see that can only be seen when in Roanoke. It's a great place to go and take a gander at the city in it's entirety. Do not suggest going in the evening or on the weekend because of daters.

Free! Star turns on at 7pm, stays on til 12am. Parking lot small, so be mindful. Walking trails around the star. Overlook the whole city and mountain views . Absolutely stunning.

The star can be driven right up to, but there are also some nice trails for hikers and fitness enthusiasts.

If you haven't done this at least once, go do it! It's an amazing overview of the city and so cool to see the giant star.

Beautiful views especially if you can catch the sunset ! (If you go in the summer, bring bug spray)
