This is where you'll discover the best of Irish and international literature, featuring Wilde, Beckett and other great writers. Have coffee and check out the books at the bookshop (modern annexe).
The Writer's Museum . It's a look at the literary heritage of Ireland as well as artifacts belonging to everyone from Swift to Beckett . This is a well curated museum . - Lara, (England & Wales)

Just a heads-up the coffeehouse closed in September 2012.
Dense but interesting. Pretty lame book shop though, sadly.

Do not have coffee here. It is not good.
Музей в бывшем особняке Джеймисона (одного из), довольно старомодный, если мало времени, то лучше идти в Центр Джойса. Хотя интерьеры на втором этаже интеесные.
Good selection of exhibits. Compared to the natural history museum around the corner it's more modern, with some excellent exhibits. Beautiful building, too. - Stephen D
Very nice place for those who love old stories and fairytales. Loved climbing the furniture here, great fun! Sinead, our guide, was out of this world, thanks to her for the mini-adventure. - Daria K.
Small but quite interesting exposition, don't skip the backyard were they have the door from Eccles street, 7, Leopold Bloom's apartment - Denis Akhapkin
Well worth the visit. Free admission. For me, the highlight was seeing the contents of Francis Bacon's studio analysed in detail - Joyce Cheng
