Amazingly friendly and efficient service for the size of the dining room. Genuinely good food, if a little bit of a tourist trap. Hard not to love the interiors.

Great atmosphere, great food, great history. You can image Goethe sitting close by redrafting Faustus. Midday set meal good value

Be mindful of how much business they have and be kind to the waitstaff . This is truly a special experience.

森鴎外が留学中の井上哲次郎(哲学者)とここを訪れファウストを翻訳することを決めたそうです。奥の部屋には、その偉業を称えてポーレンツが描いた壁画 があります。晩年の鴎外が若き頃を回想しているシーンだそうで、左からメフィスト、若き軍服姿の鴎外(軍医だった)、ファウスト、井上哲次郎、晩年の鴎外です。なお、壁画 は2009年に描かれたもので、歴史あるものではないです（今後、歴史あるものになっていくでしょう）。

Приходите в ресторан до 18:00. После будут большие очереди и долго ждать придется. Кухня отличная и шнапс великолепен:)))

Вкусная немецкая еда , но всего три сорта пива . Именно здесь Гете писал Фауста , попивая вино .

Lecker. Laut . Teuer . Kann man mal machen, will man aber nicht oft. Zum hohen Preis kommt noch eine sehr beengte Atmosphäre. Im Saal gibt es keine Trennwände und die Tische stehen dicht beieinander.

Не обычный погребок , ощущение что новый Фауст и все тот же Мефистофель сидят где то рядом)) кормят хорошо.

Луковый суп и суп из дичи хороши . Пиво на 3+. Всё остальное , включая обслуживание , оставляет желать лучшего .
