Our first time in the park and we may have chosen the wrong trail to begin our hike . Trails are not rated or described in the trail map. We took the Shangra la trail down the hill for a mile...n up!
Good selection of outdoor trails for all abilities right near downtown Bellevue. Grab a map from the booth next to the car park

Lots of great hikes . Look for historical coal mining exhibit off the main trail .
Super fun but bring bug spray! Also make sure you sign your name
Solid group of trails . Not that many people which is a plus.
Great trail system. Lots of abandoned coal mines.
No bears but watch out for the mountain 's namesake.
So quiet and peaceful place in the city .
Miles of trails ...
It's beautiful.
Check out the Coal Creek Falls and the look for the mine shafts. Lots of neat artifacts in the area.
