The name says it all! You can't go wrong with the Pho Ga . Tender noodles and the chicken is never chewy, always perfectly done. Feeling rich, go for th Vietnamese crab . Can't go wrong with 58, yummy!
The friendly owner acts as the host and waiters a majority of the tables. He also offers great suggestions. Go with a group and order the dungeoness crab and #10 (tomato and shrimp based noodle ). Yum
The name says it all. This awesome vietnamese restaurant is Y.U.M.M.Y. Come try the beef carpaccio salad or the imperial rolls that will have you saying... you get it. Read more
For pho , I just go with the pho tai . Simple, solid, yummy. If price is no object and you want to mix it up, go with the garlic and butter crab . Just come hungry or bring a friend. You'll need 'em!
Get the #63,Chao Bac Thao, the pork and preserved egg porridge . It is the best. Great for hangovers in addition to satisfying hunger.
Worth the wait! Turnover is fast so it's not long. Fyi the curry chicken pho is really spicy and doesn't have coconut milk . The chicken wings with lemongrass sauce is really good!
Hands down the best Pho Tai . Their Bun bo hue tastes exactly like it's off the street of Ho Chi Minh city . Eat, be fat and happy and fist bump the owner.
There will always be a bit of a wait, but on those cool SF nights this place is worth it, and will warm you up. Five spice chicken is my favorite. Even better for leftovers.
Got the chicken noodle soup pho and I added veggies for 2 bucks. It was so delicious. And the line moves quickly.
Everything looks good and smells good too..we try their#8 pho , it's creamy and really good. It's a great place for family style dinner .
Portions are really big! We could have just split a #1 (xl pho ) amongst the two of us. The pho is good but the broth seems pretty generic.
Good pho ! Love the beef broth and noodles . Takes a while to get the food for a pho place but so worth it.
Curry noodle soup and a Ca Phe Sua Da. The two older dudes who run this place are the coolest friendliest. Love it. ???? ????☕️
Order the dungeoness crab and save the garlic/chive sauce for the number 10 (tomato and shrimp based noodle ).
Great dishes for family style/group dining: sauteed crab with salt and pepper ; mixed grilled meats with lettuce and rice paper wraps ; catfish hot and sour soup . Great food, affordable , welcoming team.
Best pho tai in SF. You can ask for a small bowl of soup if you get a rice plate. Broken rice (com tam) is only served weekends.
If you want something different, get #8 with rice noodles ! Slightly peanut-y and very tasty
I resisted the temptation to get the Pho Tai and got the Bún bò Huế instead. No regrets! Sweet, spicy , and sour all at the same time.
Pho Tai baby. For extra points add half of spoon of minced garlic .
We like the pho broth at this straightforward neighborhood joint.
If you're getting apps (you should: fish sauce wings ), I recommend splitting one phô with your dining partner.
Pho and bun bo hue are good! Banh xeo wasn't super crispy but banh cuom and banh uot were good!
Had the bun ca ri ga, which was delicious. Plum soda was refreshing. Attentive service. Would def come back!
The #8 beef noodle soup was so good and so deliciously spicy ????
Fried imperial rolls are great!
Bun Bo Hue was damn good!!
The chicken pho is outstanding!Very good broth. Delicious!
Pho is the go-to choice here. Amazing iced coffee also!
Can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
The Pho is yummy yummy! And the portions are large! Great bang for buck.
It's a great alternate to the long lines at their neighboring restaurant .
Chicken curry soup was delicious!
The chicken wings with fish sauce and lemon grass are better than the wings next door
HUGE bowl of pho . However, the broth tasted like regular pork broth and tasted more Chinese than vietnamese. No lemongrass or vietnamese spices.
Awesome owner. Awesome food. The Chao Bo is awesome.
They have banh cuon ! Not perfect but still comforting
Love their chicken noodle soup , squid , pho .. It's all good!
Absolutely yummy yummy! Crab was delicious! Bun rieu, yes!!
Authentic amazing Vietnamese. No fuccbois.
Awesome fried potsticker appetizers ! They look like sui mei with deep fried crispy rice on the outside. Excellent beef stew w/ rice .
5 spice chicken pho ! Don't get the mixed fruit drink though... Tastes like grenadine and water.
Had a shrimp and tomato soup that was just alright. Great size portions though
Pho is good but the rice dishes and meat are even better.
Try the Pho Xe Lua - So big.... (via @Foodspotting)
Food was great, not too heavy and the service was great.
Amazing! Get the pho and the chicken wings
Damn those imperial rolls are fried deliciousness.
Pho was really yummy ????
A crab is 45usd per piece. The one with butter and garlic was nothing special, garlic was burnt, no juice .
The #19 Pho Ga Quay Chao (five spice chicken with rice beef noodle soup ) is great. It sounds boring, but it's not...I swear!
Solid pho. Lots of apps to choose from. - Sherry Li
The chicken pho #7 is the best on the set an the wine sauce oxtail is really tasty - RoxXx&co. Jewelry For The Urban Gentleman
Vermicelli bowl with charbroiled pork was amazing. Imperial rolls were not my favorite but still good! Fast, friendly service. - Peter Ruzevich
My go-to neighborhood grocer. Great produce, always clean, and never too crowded. - Lisa Harper Carter
Huge beautiful park, great for biking, jogging, walking, picnics. - Bogdan Dobre
Those chicken wings...don't miss it. They also have great soup noodle and dumplings. - Ting S
