The restaurant is recommended by the concierge from the five-star hotel . There was a controversial impression. It will be necessary to repeat. Ask for a place by the window overlooking the canal .
Greetje’s menu is like a culinary journey through the Netherlands of the past. There’s a large variety of starters such as Frisian sugar bread , ox tail soup or smoked eel from Holland.
The sharing menu is top notch. One of the exceptionally few Dutch restaurants that actually serve great food.
Dutch cuisine, French wine , lovely, warm environment...
Great ambiance, great food, a variety of wines . The service is always spot on. If your not sure what to order wine wise with your meal just ask...
One of the best places in Amsterdam for Dutch food . Locally sourced organic ingredients with traditional recipies. Lekker! Read more

Staffs were very polite and friendly , service was good. Every thing about food was good but not WOW.
Great place to sample authentic Dutch food .
A top-notch restaurant offering modern Dutch cuisine . Tip: Order the “big beginning” starter!
Fantastic food and tragically inept service. Well intentioned, but completely disjointed.
Lovely place with great food and a brilliant host. Make sure you order Greetjes Big Final!
Very good place for local but very fine food!
Really typical and nice Dutch food although a little bit pricy for what you get
Go to Greetje for typical local Dutch food and ambiance. Try the Greetjes Big Beginning A presentation of the cold and hot starters! Read more
TOTALLY NOT THE PLACE DESCRIBED EVERYWHERE!! We were terribly disappointed. Staff rushed us and wasn't at all attentive to our requests. We only could order a main course as it was 9.30 PM...
Don't even attempt to order the wine if you are not willing to spend a ridiculous high amount...The cheapest (and only average) bottle - a Merlot - is 25 Euros!!
Great Dutch food with a French twist. A hidden gem away from the tourists .
Typical Dutch food and very expensive . Slow service. The place is charming but very noisy , my partner and I had to speak very loudly .
Lamb was quite tasty but overcooked & totally dry, even after pouring the gravy on top. 'Quintet of chocolate ' was such a joke! Microscopic amounts of chocolate mousse and icecream for 11€. RIP OFF!!!
Great food, wonderful staff Read more
Also make reservation ahead.
Food ok although not my taste. Service was terribly slow, even to get your jacket back. Disappointing.
Veal olağanüstü bir et . Tandır kuvamında yumuşacık geliyor. Yanında servis edilen kabak püresi de şahane. Balık sevenler içinse monkfish mükemmel (google dan resmine bakmadan yiyin :) )
Si mangia divinamente bene, ambiente super confortevole, stra consigliato...
De hete bliksem is hier helemaal goed, doen!
one and only wine & sausage concept brasserie/restaurant in Amsterdam. amazing assortment of sausages with fennel, pumpkin, shrimps and many other creative ingredients. well selection of wines too - Numuque
Great food, service even better! Like to be served at home! - Ben Klaus
Dame Blanche with cream as dessert, and green salad combined w Cesar salad & vitello tonato to start with. Wow! :-DD - Barbara Philipsen
So cozy in terms of live musinc (during NYE), cocktails, service personnel and the visitors. All cool and elegant 60s' ;) - Mustafa Aktas
