In a city dominated by multiplexes showing blockbusters this tiny art house cinema is a welcome change. Even if you don't care for the hipster vibe their program is usually worth a visit.

Cool 70s theatre..bring back the nostalgic feel..except no kacang puteh uncle nor ticket stub with chalk writing. Seats were low, aircon blows strong. So bring along thicker jacket .

Cool hipster cinema screening some alternative movies . Price is usually $13 per ticket. Also, don't miss the rooftop bar called The great escape.

For people who like art-house this is the best cinema in the city . There are full range of movies from on Indian, Chinese, Japanese, French & so on. Ticket costs $13

Great films ! If you're having a hard time finding the place (like we did), the way there is by the lift in front of the entrance and not through the entrance itself.

Great alternative space, Kubrick's movies and of course... Hipsters ???? Singapore needs more places like this! But the aircon there is crazy so don't forget to bring a coat and a hat! Or a heater... ????

Nice alternative place to watch non-mainstream films . Bring a date. Bring a scarf or wear a cardigan as it can get cold. Order nachos and popcorn you can bring inside the movie house.

A lot of cool, old films at pay-what-you-want prices. There are newer movies off the beaten track at fixed prices. One of the screens has been bags and you can buy craft beer to take in.

Non-commercial movies and Indie films . Avoid the Blue Room if possible as the other rooms used to be actual cinema theaters with proper sound systems . Go for mookata (Thai BBQ ) after the movie .

Old school cinema experience. Friendly and laid back atmosphere . The seats aren't too comfortable but that's part of the experience. Bring a cardigan to keep you warm.

Cinema operates a bar where Mon hosts happy hour all day. For Tue-Fri, HH is 4pm-8pm. $10 for wines & hourpours

Cool independent cinema . Great selection of movies . You can bring in food and alcohol : brace yourselve if next to fried chicken lovers ????

Isle of Dogs sold out but free for me because some one else didn’t show up and they are the most awesome cinema ever! ????????

Great place to catch an indie or foreign film . Leg room is a bit tight for tall people so be prepared.

Really retro cinema seats kept from the original Golden Cinema .

Bring a hoodie or a blanket to keep yourself warm. AC in the screening room is blasting like crazy.
