One of the best day hikes in the state . Well-marked, varied terrain, not too strenuous, incredible view from the summit. Highly recommended.
When hiking in the summer, jump in the lake after to cool down. It's totally worth it.
Gorgeous in the fall with the leaves changing but beautiful all year round with the rock formations ! Definitely worth the views if you are up for a long walk!
Woah, the views . If you can make it out there, it's so worth it!
Best hike around
Epic view !
The trail to the falls is closed indefinitely due to a wildfire that occurred in spring 2016. You can still access Sam's Point & the Ice Caves. - Tim Hettler
I've been sunburned, skinny dipped, chased chipmunks and gazed at the south side of the Catskills here. Recommend. - Andrea Girolamo
Beautiful scenic views, there is a wide two mile loop trail around the lake, $10 per car and worth it! - Rachel
