Torpedo Factory Art Center

Don't let the cold, arsenal feel of the outside scare you off, it was, after all, a Torpedo Factory . Inside, you'll find over 150 artists on all 3 floors of the building. Target Gallery is a must see.

I took an art class there last summer and I loved it!! :) It is a beautiful building with an amazing view of the water and of Old Town Alexandria. I would recommend going there alone or with friends.

A great stop to make along the vibrant and historic King Street. As housing for more than 80 artists and venue to 6 galleries , this factory attracts over 500,000 tourists a year.

A fabulous place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Wander 3 floors of art galleries and chat with the local artists . Truly a can't miss in Old Town .

So cool. Have never seen a place like this. Love the history behind the building and walking around talking to the artists ! Definitely plan on coming back!

Great views of the water, eclectic art to check out in each loft space and you may even get entertained by some live music outside on the waterfront if it's a nice day.

Artist there said don't bother coming at 10, wait until 11. Apparently only like half of the artists will open on time.Anyway. Awesome experience. Cool place. Definitely check it out!

Check out the pottery studio on the third floor just to the right at the top of the stairs; make sure you look inside the pots!

This is a must place to visit when in Alexandria. You can view all different types of art for free and can even watch the artists create their work.
