Kabul Afghan Cuisine

Pick anything from the menu, you can't go wrong. It's the first time I try Afghan food and it has great taste! Portions are quite large :)

The food is tasty. We got Kabab-E-Gusfand, Sabsi Challaw (Challaw:Rice cooked with cumin , chicken broth , etc), and Korma Challaw Badenjan. All of therm very delicious and borderline unhealthy :).

Salmon skewer , single serve was large $17, substitute rice for veggies . Cauliflower stew .

Huge portions - you'll leave with a food coma for sure. The flavors here are exquisite! Loved the Lawang chicken ! Highly recommend.

The chupan lamb dish was juicy and delicious. We went for lunch but portion sizes were what you might expect at dinner .

I'm Afghan. This food is alright. But for the real Kabuli experience ask the manager Fahim to try on the big red dress . He'll love you for it! Maybe even comp you some yummy rice pudding .

The Pakawra-E-Katchalu(batter dipped potatoes with yogurt and meat sauce ) is my favorite appetizer .

The kadu sounds strange (cooked pumpkin topped with yogurt and meat sauce ) but is amazingly delicious!

Get the Kadu (pumpkin ), it's amazing They have it in appetizer and entree size

Bulanee katchalu, lamb kabob , gulpi challaw all solid bets. Don't forget the extra spicy green sauce .

The taste of the food is good. I am frequently visiting this place, however things need to improve; 1) slow service, 2) decoration.
