Statue of Liberty

The most famous statue of the communist era, the Liberation Monument nowadays internationally recognized as an iconic symbol of Budapest, beautiful view to the city

Right on top of Gellért hill . A lady holding palm leaf signifying freedom . Two other statues signifying progress and good killing evil are on the sides.

The statue itself is of no artistic interest and it would justify no reason for the cumbersome climb up the hill if it weren’t for the majestic bird’s eye view of the entire city . Loved it!

The best view of Budapest from above. Don't miss it. It's actually not that far away.

Bu heykel ülkede 2. Dünya Savaşı'ndan sonra kısa dönem süren komünizme ait tek hatıra. Komünizme ait tüm yapılar yıkılmış, ama bu heykele kıyamamışlar .

Berühmte Statue die man fast von überall entlang der Donau erkennen kann. Ein Besuch der Statue lohnt sich in erster Linie wegen der Aussicht aber auch von der Entfernung ist die Statue beeindruckend.

Şehri kuşbakışı görebileceğiniz, Macar tarihinde pek Yeri olmayan, harika manzaralı bi yer. Güzel kareler yakalamak mümkün.

Muchísimo ambiente en torno al monumento , al menos cuando estuvimos allí. Monumento imponente, eso desde luego. Incluso desde abajo puede verse perfectamente. Las vistas, geniales.
