The combination of Japanese-Hawaiian-Caribbean flavours and cuisines, make this an unique gastronomical experience. The location, view and decor, really make justice to this fantastic place.
The butterfish with bok choi is amazing! Make sure to put in an order for souffle - it takes some time to prepare but is well worth it
Had the Macadamia Mahi Mahi , and got the quinoa and coconut puree as sides instead, so delicious! Free dessert if you are a Marriott Rewards mbr too! (They choose the dessert ) DeLoach Pinot Noir is++!
Had the Drunken Mule and it was fantastic ????????. Ordered the Seared Scallops and local poke . The creme brûlée cheesecake was also delicious. ????
We used the travelzoo voucher and while the menu was different it was def worth it! I am a fan of Roy's. 1988 (Lichee Martini ) is da ????
I wasn't impressed with the food here. I've eaten seafood in a lot of seafood restaurants , but this one disappointed me. The scallops were so-so, not very tasty. I do not recommend this one.
The Butterfish is amazing. So are the lobster potstickers and the chocolate soufflés dessert . Ask for Mathew. He provided us excellent service.
Try the Roy's Trio!! Fantastic fusion Japanese-Hawaiian cuisine!
Patio dinner is just perfect with an amazing harbor view ...
Great restaurant on a great location. Server is good. However, waiting for three main dishes for 90 minutes is unacceptable. Why? Nobody knows the answer. UNACCEPTABLE.
Stacy is awesome - ask for her when you're here. She knows her stuff about sushi and has spent time on the islands . Great experience because of her!!!
Yummy secret Vegetarian menu ! Amazing Pineapple Upside down cake ( with coconut ice cream ).
The beef short rib tacos are delicious. Words to describe them include juicy, meaty, and succulent. Enjoy
There's a new chef in town ! And a new menu! :) Ps. If you sit outside and see an ant crawl into your drink its because...you're outside silly goose!
The ahi Caesar salad was great!
Be sure to check out the Warner Bros Booth at Comic-Con 2010 - if you can't get in then go to the site to catch all the action at www.thewb.com #WBSDCC

If you can't decide on a menu item, go with the trio. Delicious!
The lobster potstickers are fantastic.
Absolutely divine sushi and sashimi . Service could be better but it was at least ok.
Roy 's trio is the best way to go.

Roy's in LaJolla - best Roy's ever!
We love Roy's.... LA JOLLA, that is! This location is terrible. Bad staffing, bad food. We've been here twice and it was twice too much! Back to La Jolla for us.

Outdoor dinner overlooking the harbor at sunset ... gorgeous!

The food is aweful. If you like a steak with Citrus flavor go there. It was just gross.
