5-Star Resort ! Beautiful hotel & grounds. Architecture & landscaping stunning. Great views of ocean, with elevated walkway over PCH to beach . Not cheap but an experience you should treat yourself to.

When you stay here contact the concierge . Ask about the beach bonfires . After a day of lounging at the pool and bar you'll love the bonfire . Make sure to stop at the Spa

Beautiful property, nice pools, excellent service. Water bottles and beach chairs, umbrella and towels included in resort fee . Expensive parking .

LOVED this resort for our Midsize Enterprise Summit West event . Right across from the beach and the hotel staff was incredible. Wonderful outdoor areas to relax when you have free time and great food!

I filled out the customer satisfaction survey and give Michelle at the front desk two thumbs up for great service. That evening a fruit basket with a thank you appeared in my room from her. Love it!

For diamond members: Decent club room with fair breakfast and evening servings. Plentiful of drinks. Breakfast buffet is $$ but worth it for a try IMO. Staff is efficient and friendly .

Reception and WiFi suck, food's good, service is good, breakfast @ The Californian is awesome, buffet is a little pricey but worth it if you like lots of food that you pick out.

Every time I do a wedding here, the staff is A+ above and beyond wonderful and helpful. Please tell HR they have a top notch crew. See you next time !

Get a Club Room ! You get access to the Club Lounge ; complete with breakfast bar , daytime snacks (yes, free comp. water and juice bottles). Enjoy a leather chair and watch ESPN or CNN. Free desserts !

Try to get in the Regency Club. Free breakfast , snacks , bottled water every day. Huge leather chairs to watch cable in. Not that you'll be watching TV while you're here.

Dine at the Californian ONLY if you want to be treated like a rockstar! Get Thaddeus as your waiter (he's cuter than Tom Cruise ) & you'll exp. the best, most charming & knowledgeable service ever

For dinner walk just over the bridge to the beach and head up to Dukes for lunch or dinner . You can catch surfer competitions while you dine.

A free tube of travel-sized toothpaste every night you stay. After sitting in So.Cal traffic all day, it's the little things.

It's very near to the downtown, you can get there by walking :)

If you park across the street you can use the same parking pass at the 1st street lot, which is closer to downtown. Pass doesn't work at the plaza parking lot

Hyatt on the beach and one of the best surf spots in Southern California!

Love this hotel , but don't like the $25 daily resort fee + $35 parking fee = $60 = ripoff!

If you're only going to be here for a couple hours, there's metered parking right on PCH ($1.50 per hour in Feb 2011)

The Catering Department here rocks! The view is fabulous too!

Overall great property but service isn't up to par for the nightly rate. Front desk staff and housekeeping leave a lot to be desired.

Get a massage by Tasso for a world class experience.

Go to one of the pools and go down the water slide !

Save a few by parking overnight across PCH at the beach , $15.

Wifi is terrible, cell reception isn't much better
